Celebrating Teen Book Week with Clare Libraries

Fighting Words welcomed into wonderful creative spaces by Clare Libraries!

We are so delighted to have collaborated with students from Ennis and Shannon, and Clare Libraries for Teen Book Week!

As part of Teen Book Week (early March 2026), primary and secondary students in Clare took part in workshops in creative writing.

2nd Year students from Coláiste Mhuire, Ennis crafted a brilliant story about a dramatic clash between a professional rugby player and the artist commissioned to paint her portrait.

Meanwhile, 5th & 6th Class students from St. Senan’s Primary School in Shannon introduced us to Daisy the Detective who set off across Shannon on a mysterious case that kept everyone guessing!

It's always great to be part of Teen Week! Huge thanks to Ennis Library and Shannon Library for these fantastic workshops and for hosting us again!
