The next amazing Story Slam is set for Saturday, 21 March in Dublin!

What is Story Slam?

It's a series of open mic events run by Fighting Words that provide an opportunity for young people between 13-18 years from across the island of Ireland to share their stories, poems and songs.

We know that young people in Ireland are full of creativity and now is your opportunity to share it an audience of fellow writers, family and friends!

Cool! Will it be recorded?

Yes! All our Story Slam events are recorded for The Fighting Words Podcast so your work will have a really wide audience!

The next Story Slam will take place at the Fighting Words centre in Dublin on Saturday, 21 March 2026 from 3pm to 5pm

Who will be there?

Young people, aged 13-18, to sharing their own original stories, poetry and songs, along with family, friends and the staff and mentors from Fighting Words.
