Volunteer with Fighting Words in Tallaght!

Information and Training Sessions on Saturday, 12 October at Citywise Education Campus

Over the past year, Fighting Words workshops in the Tallaght area have expanded hugely. We are delivering workshops in primary schools, secondary schools and with youth and community groups. Workshops take place in schools, at Tallaght Library and in the Citywise Education Centre.

At these workshops, our team has helped children, young people and older people to tell their stories in their own words, building their self-confidence and helping them express themselves.

What Can You Expect When You Start Volunteering?

There are many roles within the workshop - big and small - and all of them help the workshop to run smoothly. There is staff support at every step of the way and training is provided. Volunteers may find it helpful to remain in one role for 2-3 sessions before moving on - progression will be at your own pace.
