Volunteer Catch-Up & Welcome Event

Join us at Fighting Words on Saturday, 26th September, from 2–4pm for a special afternoon celebrating our wonderful volunteer community.

Whether you’re an experienced mentor or new to the Fighting Words team, this is a chance to catch up, meet fellow volunteers and welcome new faces. We’ll have plenty of snacks and refreshments, as well as a special guest author, Seán Farrelly, who will talk about his experience with Fighting Words and his new novel, Tom Burne Has Left the Chat. And he will provide us with some fun writing prompts!

Most importantly, it’s an opportunity for us to say thank you for all the time, creativity and energy our volunteers give to Fighting Words and the young people we work with.

Everyone on the Fighting Words volunteer team is warmly welcome. We’d love to see you there!
