Kayla's Holiday

Fighting Words Cork, North Presentation Primary 2nd Class, 8th December 2025

Kayla woke up and she went to the beach and it was a sunny day but she was bored. She went to sleep and she woke up and decided to go on a holiday to Spain.

She brought Pretzel (her pet guinea pig) to the shop because it was a very sunny day and she wanted to get something to drink and she got water for the guinea pig and coke for herself.

The shop is called the Super Shop and she saw a super dog! Once the dog was in space but the dog came to earth for the first time 6 years ago.

She bought the super dog and she went to sleep because she was super exhausted. She wakes up and she goes to a different shop to buy a dress for herself and brings the dog with her.

Kayla is in the shop but behind her the dog flew to a necklace shop and got her a necklace. Kayla is surprised. ‘Where did you find that?’ she asks.

The dog doesn’t answer her then she brings the dog and Pretzel home on the Aer Lingus flight. When she got home she put the dog and Pretzel into bed and went to the pet shop to get them some treats.

The next day Kayla thought she’d go to a different country and she packed her bags and brought the guinea-pig and the dog. Once she embarked on the plane, the dog started to try and bite Kayla.

The plane crashed on a desert island and the dogs family lived on the desert island and they started to attack her…
