The Runaway of Jerry the Snail & Jim-Bob-Joe the Frog

It was present day Australia at the home of Jacques the French Chef who lived in an apartment in Sydney Harbour. Jacques was feeling excited about putting his food out into the world. He has just been told that he is a contestant on Master Chef and he wants to wow the judges with his favourite recipe of escargot and frogs legs.

In his tank, Jim-Bob Joe the frog and his friend Jerry the snail are panicking. Jerry the snail is slowly pacing the tank and he is snow white with nerves.

Jerry is shaking with fear and his face is pale and he wails ‘we are going to die’. Jerry is always a pessimist but thankfully Jim-Bob Joe sees a way out of their dilemma. He reassures Jerry ‘if we can just get out of this tank, our lives will be saved, jump up on my head and we will try and reach that rope over there’.

On the third jump Jerry the snail grabs the rope with his mouth and pulls the two of up onto the top of the tank. ‘Freedom, our lives are saved, we have to get out of here fast.’ As they slowly turned around to go the door creaked open and it the familiar smell of garlic from Chef Jacques made them realise they might get caught...
