A story by Ayla, Cillian, Daniel, Holly, Oscar, Robyn and Zara

In Australia in the year 2325 there was a boy called Olaf and he was afraid of scissors.

He met his best friend George the racoon at the school in the sky. They travelled to school every day using their jet packs.

“Hey Olaf,” said George the racoon, “we’re back in design class today.”

“Hi George, we’re designing the robot teachers today and the other robot teachers are teaching us.”

“It’s kinda silly that robot’s are teaching us. We should be using paper and scissors,”

said George.

“Well I’m actually scared of scissors but why don’t we programme one of the robots to turn into a portal instead,” said Olaf.

George laughed, rubbed his paws together and said, “That is a great idea!”

They get busy making the portal which in the end looks like a black block on the outside but is purple in the middle.

Olaf hops George onto his shoulders and they go into the portal together.

They pass through in a millisecond and suddenly the portal spits them out.

They find themselves standing at a Minecraft bridge with the hottest lava ever flowing underneath. Blaze-bursts are spitting out fire but through the flames they can see a fortress in the distance. Pigs dressed in gold line the turrets.

Suddenly lightening strikes the portal and it breaks down – the purple light is extinguished.

At the same time another lightening strike hits the bridge and Olaf nearly falls through the hole.

George holds onto the bridge with one paw and grabs Olaf’s hand with the other.

Olaf let’s out a loud scream.“Oh no, how are we going to get out of this mess?”….
