Marmar’s love story

Fighting Words Dublin, Scoil Úna Naofa, 6th Class, 12th October 2026

Once upon a time, Marmar the fish lived in a fish tank. One day he got flushed down the toilet, and he was flushed down into the sea.

Then he met a new friend named LJ the pufferfish. He went to get some food with LJ, and they got wrappos.

After their food, Marmar said he was lonely. Someone called Harlow caught his eye.

He went over to Harlow and asked her, “Would you like a wrappo?”

So then Harlow said, “I would like to go to the ocean spraoi.”

Then they held fins, but LJ came in and ruined the moment. LJ told Harlow to follow him. Marmar was mad. LJ and Harlow went down the slide together. Marmar got lost and couldn’t find Harlow or LJ.

He saw them holding fins. Marmar was afraid that Harlow was having too much fun with LJ, so Marmar asked for a knock with LJ.

Then Marmar karate chopped LJ. After, Marmar found a group of boys called AVO and went collecting for a new house.

He wanted to build a house for Harlow so she would like him more.

LJ found out what Marmar was doing and copied him. LJ built a better house than Marmar.

Then Marmar set LJ’s house on fire. Then LJ showed up at Marmar’s house...
