Just Another Monday
Fighting Words Dublin, Loreto Junior School, Stephen’s Green, 6th Class, 18th January 2024
The children walked through the gates of hell (a.k.a. school). The Queen and the Princess ran in fear.
The Queen was wearing her neon-green Gucci coat and her Louis Vuitton bag that had neon-yellow and orange stripes. She also had pink heeled sandals and a large top hat with birds painted on it. There was a tiara on top of her top hat and she had blonde hair.
The Princess had pink hair with green stripes, ripped rainbow tights and skin as orange as an oompa loompa. She had long, rainbow nails and multicoloured, bejeweled loafers. She always carried chilli ricecakes. She had shaved eyebrows and wore a long neon purple fluffy coat.
They ran to hide in the bathroom, then they ran out the back door of the bathroom into the Boogey Bus.
The Boogey Bus was long, tall and colourful. It had a large boom box and ran on chilli flavoured rice crackers. Queen Walter and Princess Smith thought they could get away but Princess Smith’s tights ripped again! One of the children had bitten them.
“The Boogey Bus isn’t going fast enough!” Queen Walter shouted in a really shrill voice, but Princess Smith was unwilling to give up any more crackers.
The bus driver, King Flowers, promised he would get her more crackers if she asked in Spanish.
The children were chanting,“We want rice crackers!”
Princess Smith shouted in a high-pitched, squeaky voice that sounded like a mouse,
“Get off me, eeijits!”
The children were unwilling to do that. King Flowers asked the Queen and Princess, “Where are we going?”
He had a big long rainbow beard that was plaited, he had a uni-brow and Duolingo was his best friend and he used an app called Tapspanish.
His favourite shirt was a pink neon top from Zara with a ripped navy suit. The children were mad at him because he never let them go to the bathroom or play kahoot; whenever they would say could they play kahoot, then he would say: “Next term!”
The kids were a little scared of him and his twenty five piercings. He got mad at them when they breathed and he had a bad habit of saying “slay girl.”
The bus stopped abruptly as they let the Queen’s Court Jester, Miss O’Hanlet, get on. The queen’s royal guard followed closely behind. The queen’s guard was named Mister Weakly.
Then the evil villain, Sad Moe, showed up...
