The Dirty Narrow Way to School

Luna the dramatic teenager was very sassy and mean. Because there was a girl in school who was being very mean to her. One day Luna was snoring in bed and Sally, the brave girl, woke her up. She shook her.

“Wake up Luna”

“Why are you here? What time is it?” said Luna angrily.

“It’s time to go to school.”

“I don’t want to go to school,” Luna sneered.

“Oh come on, we’ll take a shortcut to school,” said Sally thinking that Luna was scared that the girl would be mean to her again.

“I’ll go to school if you help me become more popular.”

So, they went off to school. Then Sally said

“How am I supposed to make you popular?”

“Well you have lots of friends, can’t you make them be my friends?”

They went down the narrow road. There was lots of mud. And bugs!!!! There were bugs in the mud where they were stepping. And crawling in the hedges!! They were all around them. Luna said “There’s bugs everywhere, I’m not walking this way!”

“I can help you overcome your fear of bugs,” said Sally helpfully.

But then a bug jumped on Luna’s hand and she screamed at the top of her lungs. The bug crawled up her arm.

“It tickles, but it’s scary!”

“It just a roly poly. You can shake him off or just put him down on the ground gently,” said Sally calmly.

Luna was crying and started jumping around like she was at the trampoline park.

Just then, an old lady came out of her house and screamed:

“What is all this noise about?”….
