Dave the Dog and the Super Problem

Fighting Words Dublin, St. Patrick’s NS, Greystones, 3rd class, 25th June 2026

Once upon a time there was a dog named Dave. Who lived in a mansion made of basketballs. He woke up but he did not want to get out of bed because he suddenly had the urge to go to the toilet. But he was really scared to go to the toilet.

A couple of hours later, his coach called him on the phone to play basketball.

Coach said, “Where are you? The game has started.” He ran out of bed and he realized there had been a robbery in his mansion. Half of his house was gone!

He said to himself, “At a time like now, I really need a pair of buff pig bodyguards.” So he ordered them to come and protect him. Nobody came though because it was just a wish.

Later on, he realized his favorite teddy named George was stolen. He spoke to himself, “At a time like this, I think I should call my best friend, a chinchilla named Fluffles.” However, Fluffles couldn’t make it because he was playing the game. But Fluffles got bored of the game so he came over. Then he ordered a super mansion off of temu that came straight away that is made of diamonds and is impossible to break. But it was just a small statue because it was only 99 cents.

The bank called and said, “Sorry for the inconvenience. We will return everything that was stolen from you.”

He starts to remember… How am I supposed to get to the basketball game? Then…
