Juleena is at a volleyball match in Malaga, Spain. They have just won the grand final on the beach. The grand prize is an all-inclusive cruise of the Maldives. Juleena adores volleyball and she hopes one day to make it to the Olympic team.

Juleena and her family go to the largest sports centre in Malaga for prizegiving. Juleena runs to the referee, grabs the cruise tickets and then runs to her parents screaming and jumping with joy.

“We won tickets to the Maldives!” she says to her parents Jeff and Sarah.

Back at the hotel, Juleena tells her brother Rick that they have won a five-day cruise to the Maldives. Rick panics, wondering what he will do with his special, secret, support-fish Bob. Bob is not like any other fish: he has legs, arms and adores take away food. Bob also has a dreadful fear of water, especially sea water, which is why he walks on land, and this also makes him smell…interesting. Rick cannot take Bob on the cruise, because his sister Juleena is terrified of fish! Rick is afraid what might happen to his friend Bob if Juleena finds him.

Back at their home in Fairways, Abbeyleix, the family are packing for their trip. Rick is wondering how he will hide Bob the fish in his luggage without his family, especially his sister seeing him. Rick squeezes Bob into his suitcase and they travel to the ferry port. Bob is so hungry by the time they reach their boat; he has eaten all of Rick’s clothes, including his emergency chocolate bar...

Rick tells his parents he needs to go to the toilet, taking his suitcase with him. On his way, Rick meets Ms McCarthys 5th & 6th class from Abbeyleix South National School: Ben, Harry, John, Lochlan, Lochie, Jack, Sophia, Annie, Amelia, Robyn, Alice, Anoushka, Annie, Nicholas, Kevin, Hugh and Rory, who are also on the cruise.

Rick spots the food cargo hold for the cruise ship, where he locks in Bob. Bob is alone in the food cargo where he proceeds to eat EVERYTHING except the fish because Bob is not a cannibal. Because the cruise ship has enough food for 2,784 people, Bob eats a lot of food. Due to the amount of food he has consumed, Bob grows to the size of the kitchen prep table. Just then, the head chef came in, who is seven feet tall with incredibly dry skin that seems almost scaly under the light. He scrapes his nails on the door, and he notices that the room has been ransacked.

All the cartons have been drunk, all the food has been eaten from packets and the place is a mess! Zathan, the head chef, is so frustrated that he screams in anger, but it sounds more like a roar that that’s when Bob realises Zathan is a crocodile called Camilidile. Bob burps and farts really loudly and the smell of this is so strong that it puts Camilidile into a hallucinogenic state. Bob rolls off the table and then he flops onto the floor and scampers off in a scared way.

Bob then screams, “Rick, save me!” Rick hears him from his room while he is doing his hair for his TRessemé ad. Bob gets to the edge of the boat with the crocodile in pursuit. He then has a panic attack because he is being chased by a crocodile and is also faced with his biggest fear - water! Bob faints and falls…
