The battle of Bob the Platypus, the Amazing Super Squad and the Monsters

Fighting Words Limerick, Thomond Primary School, 4th Class, 16 September 2026

It was the year 2269 in Paris, France. The super squad is at the top of the Eiffel Tower and they are watching the monsters ready to attack the tower. The monsters are pulling on the Eiffel Tower to try and bring it down.

Then they found a chainsaw and used that but sparks went flying and it broke the chainsaw. The super squad went down and started fighting them. Bob showed up and saw the fight and said, “I’m out of here!”.

Meanwhile, the super squad start fighting the monsters with food, they use spaghetti, croissants and pizza.

“Why are you fighting us?”

They answered in gibberish-monster-talk. The super squad used a safety ladder to get to the top of a different building as they tried to escape. A baby zombie comes flying through the air, he falls 20 metres down. “Too bad!” they said.

Meanwhile, on a different planet, Bob the platypus finds a mutant pizza on the ground. He eats and turns into a magical cat and then flies back to Paris, to help his friends.

On his way, he spots the baby zombie fall onto a slice of pizza. The super squad say “You’re a cat now and you came back Bob!”. Bob starts beating up the monsters because he is buff now. Suddenly, a portal appears….
