Sam the Young Courageous Village Boy lived in a moderately small village nestled in a valley.

He was playing conkers with his foster father and adopted brother called Jack.

Sam smiled throughout the whole game. Later that night, Sam went to bed thinking about building a time machine.

All Sam ever wanted was to travel to the future so he could see flying cars. But more than that, he wanted to find out what happened in the future and save the world.

The one thing he wouldn’t do was tell his foster father and adopted brother about his dream. He was afraid that they wouldn’t let him go – they loved him too much.

He eventually fell asleep where he had a nightmare. In the dream, he travelled to the future, and saw the apocalypse.

Sam was shocked and scared. He felt goosebumps on his arms, he breathed in really heavily, and his heart felt like it would jump out of his chest.

He couldn’t wake up and saw his parents as zombies in the apocalypse…
