During 2024 and 2025, a team of four mentors from Fighting Words visited Oberstown Campus to work one to one with the young men and women there. WIth the mentor's support, the young people who joined us on regular Thursday mornings, three or four mornings each term, wrote, joked, connected and chatted. In this collection you will find humour, pathos, drama, tragedy and everything in between. Accompanying the stories published here are a number of wonderful illustrations created by the same young people.
