Fun for Students!
Fighting Words is a place where students come to expand their imaginations, learn about creative writing and most importantly have fun!
We provide a welcoming environment where students can evolve into authors and tell their stories in their own voices. With the help of our supportive writing mentors, students have the opportunity both to collaborate with their classmates and to express themselves individually.
And there truly is no limit to what they can create! Our students create comics, short stories, poems, and even raps, take a look at what these young writers from Scoil Áine, Raheny, Dublin 5 created!
A Teacher’s Perspective
While Fighting Words is an amazing place for young writers, it is also an enriching experience for teachers!
Our mentors and workshop leaders guide the students and offer teachers a unique opportunity to enjoy the workshop from an external perspective.
