Limerick Project Coordinator

Do you have a passion for creativity, storytelling, and working with communities?

Fighting Words is looking for a Project Co-ordinator in Limerick to help bring the power of creative writing to schools and groups in Limerick city and across the Mid West.

  • Salary/Hours:  €22 690.00, 21 hours per week, part-time and flexible.

Contract: 12 months fixed term, with a possibility of extension, subject to funding

 


 What you’ll do:

  • Plan and deliver creative writing workshops for children, young people and vulnerable adults in Limerick and beyond.
  • Coordinate and support our amazing team of volunteer writing mentors.
  • Build and nurture partnerships with libraries, schools, and community organisations.
  • Contribute engaging content for our website and social media.
  • Collaborate with colleagues nationwide on joint projects.
     

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in the education and/or arts sectors in Ireland.
  • Skilled at working with children and/or vulnerable adults.
  • Workshop facilitation and training experience.
  • Strong organisational, IT, and communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a knowledge and understanding of the Fighting Words mission.
