Story Slam 2025: A Celebration of Young Voices at Dublin Book Festival
The Story Slam programme concluded for 2025 with a brilliant showcase of young talent at the Dublin Book Festival on Saturday, 8 November.
It was a very special evening of storytelling, poetry, and song at the iconic Chapel in the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA). Twenty brilliant young authors took to the stage, captivating an audience of over 100 people, including many family and friends.
The event, hosted by acclaimed author and MC Dave Rudden, showcased the incredible talent of emerging writers. Each performer delivered their work with confidence and passion, earning enthusiastic and well-deserved applause from the audience. The atmosphere was electric, with the historic Chapel providing a stunning backdrop for the evening’s performances.
A Year of Empowering Young Voices
This Story Slam marked the culmination of a year-long series of open mic events designed to provide young people with opportunities to share their creativity and develop their performance skills.
