Launch of Story Seeds Project with Fighting Words NI
New project and to work in new areas with our sister organisation in Northern Ireland
The Story Seeds project first sprouted in 2021 in north inner city Dublin. Since that time, the project, which celebrates place and community through creative writing, has grown throughout Dublin, in Bray/Wicklow, Louth, Cork and Limerick.
The new Story Seeds project with Fighting Words NI will work with primary and secondary schools and community groups in the border regions of Louth, Monaghan and Donegal and connect them through creative writing with communities in Belfast, Newry, Armagh, Coleraine and Derry~Londonderry.
This cross-border project will be delivered by Fighting Words and Fighting Words NI and over the course of the year, we will be creating stories, poems, songs and scripts.
