Launch of Long Story Short

Long Story Short was launched at Donabate Community College on Monday 26th May 2014.

Twenty transition year students from the school have been visiting Fighting Words each Thursday, since September, to work on their short stories.

They drafted, redrafted, edited and completed the stories with encouragement from Fighting Words volunteers.  They chose the title of the book and worked with a designer on the cover. 

They also organised the launch in their school which was a great occasion.

The students were joined by family, friends, school staff, Fighting Words volunteers and Paul Murray to celebrate the publication of their book.
