Book Launch "Inficted: World's Colide"

A group of transition year students drawn from Larkin Community College, Mount Carmel Secondary School, O'Connell's Secondary School and St. Paul's CBS (The Brunner) have been visiting Fighting Words weekly throughout the year, putting huge effort into individual creative pieces as part of Book Project 2025-2026. On Friday they gathered, with friends and family, to celebrate their achievements and officially launch the anthology work "Inficted: When World's Collide".

All of us at Fightinging Words have been blown away by the effort and dedication these young people showed, but perhaps more importantly we have been privileged to bear witness to their astonishing growth and the warm, supportive community spirit they built so effectively this year. 

Seán Farrelly, author of "Tom Burne Has Left The Chat" spoke glowingly at the launch- echoing him, this is certainly not the last we will hear of these young creatives.
