My name is Karen and I work in Laois Libraries. I am very passionate about working with children and young people. Through the Fighting Words creative writing sessions, our Fighting Words Laois team have been very fortunate to work with so many talented young authors and illustrators. My favourite words? Éiníní in Irish because I love wildlife and especially little birds. Plus it's so much fun to say! In English, I like enthusiastic - because I always am!
