Creative Cohort - Design, Editing, Animation, Sound & More

We are always looking for creative and highly-skilled volunteers to work behind-the-scenes on our various projects throughout the year.

Volunteering for these projects can be done on a project-by-project basis and in your own time.

Volunteer Your Skills to Help Children & Young People Explore Their Creativity!

Are you a creative professional in the visual arts, design, editing and book production, animation or music? Fighting Words is building a Creative Cohort of people who would like to donate their expertise to help us help children and young people showcase their stories.

Design, Illustration, and Photography

We regularly require experienced graphic designers to help design print and digital publications, marketing materials and more. We occasionally seek professional photographers to capture our workshops and other events.

Editing and Translation

The work produced by our authors of all ages for publication deserves care and attention. Each year, we produce a number of anthologies and other publications, so we require professional copy editors and proofreaders to ensure that the content is edited to the highest standard.

In addition, much of our content is produced in English agus as Gaeilge. If you have a background in translation from English to Irish (and vice versa), contact us!

Animation, Video Editing, Music - and More!

Creative writing takes many forms. We have several projects throughout the year that require special skills and technology in animation, editing, music - to name just a few.
