The Revenge of Hippy

St. Mary’s B.N.S, Booterstown, 6th Class, 28th November 2012
“Hi, welcome back,” said the flying purple hippo to Ringo.

“I’ve just come back from a casino in Las Vegas,” replied Ringo.  Ringo was a penguin who wore a black and white tuxedo.

The hippo and the penguin were flying back to their palace on a cloud in the sky.  The called their palace the ‘crib.’

The hippo was like a taxi that transported animals across the sky.  When Hippy flies through the sky, he leaves a trail of rainbows behind him.  This makes people very happy.

Ringo said, “I’ve just gotten a royal, straight flush.  So I decided this would be a good time to celebrate because I only win like this every five years.”

“Wow, that’s great for you”, Hippy replied sarcastically. “I’m rubbish at that game but I have an idea about how we could spend the money.”

“I’d give you some of it but I wouldn’t give you all of it,” Ringo said looking suspiciously at Hippy with a stern look on his face.

Hippy was often very lonely when Ringo was away so with the money Ringo had won, he suggested they buy a two-headed goat.  Hippy thought that the goat would protect him from the teachers at his school.

“I will -  on one condition,” said Ringo with a mischevious grin on his face and wriggling his flippers. “You have to get over your fear of school and teachers...”
