Once upon a time there was a dog called Spotty.

She had a friend called Bob the Duck who swims in water and pecks other ducks’ bums which made them fart. 

Spotty lived in a big house and her owners were very rich and got her whatever she wanted.

Bob the cow cried as he was in the prison cell. 

They had to escape out of prison, or else the prison warden threatened that he’d turn Bob into a hamburger.

Bob cried so much he almost flooded the place.

Chocolate was phenomenal at soccer, but he didn’t believe in himself.

Smokey the Thin Cat, who was Chocolate’s best friend, had true faith in his abilities.

He is feeling blue because he is trapped in North Korea.

Suddenly, Geoff catches a glimpse of a petite and peculiar blue creature waving at him from a little plane in the sky.

Shella Bella’s Revenge

One snowy weekend, Shella Bella the Sheep went to visit Mindy the Collie at her home.

Pom-Pom the Poodle was also there, which put Mindy at ease.

Suddenly, Shella Bella burst through the door.

Bob dreamed about one day driving a diamond encrusted Bentley.

Talking Carrots

One dark evening, Jimmy the Farmer was buying cattle food at the mart.

After buying the food he walked to the grocery store to buy carrot seeds.

Jimmy drove home in his tractor, Johnny the John Deere, and planted the seeds.

Billy Banana’s Great Adventure

Billy the crazy banana was wandering through the rainforest. He was very unhappy because he was getting very, very soggy with all the rain.

All of a sudden, a hungry monkey jumped down and ate him. 

But then the monkey spat him out in disgust because Billy was all soggy.

Lizzie woke up and started to scream frantically. She started to panic because she realised that she was in the attic.

A light was coming from one of the walls. She touched it and it turned into a door. 

She walked through the door, slammed it behind her and realised she’s in a long dark tunnel.

When I first was a loose grape, I screamed because I fell in a lake of banana juice, which was in the family dog bowl.

It was Christmas Eve and she was hoping to put the lights on the Christmas tree. She also was hoping to stay up late to see Santa Claus.

She looked out of her window and spotted a tsunami on the horizon.

A boxing mystery

One day there was a boxer called Anthony Giggles. He was driving in his car with Coach Rick to training in Drummin Boxing Arena, which was next to Drummin National School.

In the middle of the car ride, a concerned Coach Rick told Anthony Giggles that he needed to go on a diet.

Mr. Cranky’s Week of Worries

Mr. Cranky was stuck in his office, planning to skydive, when he heard the children laughing.

It was very hard for Mr Cranky to hear the children because he had his window barricaded so he would not see their faces.

“Why are you always stuck in your office?” asked one of the children.

The Life of Gary the Turtle

Syrup the pancake and his friend Frankie the French Toast were ready to go to school.

On their way they met Tom and Jack, the strawberry chocolate flavoured melting marshmallows. 

Mud-phobia

He slipped and fell into the mud.

The Ghost Hunting Adventure

Its late at night, Philip the farting potatoe is walking in Crispy Grass Park, playing with is yoyo.  

When suddenly he spots a big scary old ancient house in the distance.  

He hasn’t noticed this house before, so he is curious and he walks towards it. 

Dog’s Life

Terrified of being eaten by a T-Rex, Pog the dog lives on a farm in the middle of no where with a few chickens, a sheep and a goat. 

Paulie the Puppy goes to Pog the dog looking very worried and says “I can’t find Popcorn the Poptart cat”. 

Football Phobia

Parke National School, Castlebar, Mayo, 5th and 6th Class, 22 November 2016

Jason the duck was in Duck Park training fields, once again trying to overcome his fear of footballs with his friend Percy Pegasus.

When Jason was four years old, he had fallen over a football and fractured his leg, which was very painful and left him bedridden for three months. 

It happened during the hottest summer ever recorded in Duckton Town.

Revenge Of The Killer Clowns

Voluptuous Jack and his best friend Trytineous Graham were in the middle of nowhere. 

Trytineous Graham said he needed to go to the toilet. 

On his way to the toilet, through the bushes, he heard a stick snap.

Franklyn the Funny Man was walking down the street heading for Sweetland Circus in San Francisco. 

He collected his car from the garage, got behind the wheel, started the engine.

All the people on the street ran for their lives.

Sparkles’ Adventures

Sparkles the unicorn woke up in her marshmallow house on a dark and cloudy morning.  

She ate her usual breakfast of rainbow drops and saw that it was raining bubbles outside.  

Sparkles felt frightened because she was very afraid of bubbles.

What Granny Did

Lucas the genius woke up early in his granny’s house.  He looked at a picture of his parents beside his bed. 

Both his parents had been killed three years previously, testing out their new prototype of their time machine.  

The newspaper headlines had said, Two People Killed In A Bizarre Car Crash On A Quiet Country Road.
