Anita Bath the sponge and Minty the toothbrush were best friends. They lived on a chicken farm in a farmer’s bathroom.

Anita Bath liked to sing but he had a hard time on the chicken farm because the chickens kept on pecking him when he did this. After a while, Anita Bath became afraid of chickens.

“I’m sick of these chickens, I can never practise singing because they keep on pecking me!” said Anita Bath to Minty.

“You’ll never be able to find the stuff you need though,” Minty told him.

“Okay, I’m going to have to sneak out at night then,” Anita Bath decided.

Anita Bath ran off to the bathroom and packed his bags. Minty decided to follow him and go with him too – Anita Bath was leaving in an hour.

Three hours later, they started to sneak out of the bathroom. Minty was snatched by a chicken!

Anita Bath had no idea about this and kept walking on.

Suddenly a chicken appeared out of nowhere and said, “I have your toothbrush, ha ha! If you go I’m going to brush my beak with him! I’ll give him back if you stop singing. I’ll give you half an hour to decide.”

“I’ll never stop singing! I like singing more than Minty,” Anita Bath replied...
