1 week 4 hours and 53 minutes in the life of the Void

Fighting Words Offaly, Birr Library Summer Stars, 14th August 2025

Our story starts with a tall humanioed figure with no mouth and big round eyes full pupils who has a dark coloured body whose name is The Void.  

The Void wants to take over the world, and control people to become his friends. He controls everyone at midnight to attend night-time parties every night. The Void just wants people to become his friends, as he was lonely.

He’s scared that people won’t like him anymore.

The Light his best friend is pure white, scary, and has the same appearance but is lighter, only has a mouth that takes up his entire face.

He wants to cause chaos, the Void has to stop him, as they were best friends once but now the Light is mad because the Light was overshadowed by the Void at a party. The Light is jealous of the Void.

One day the Light finds out the Void has had a party but didn’t invite him!

The Light’s grudge grows and he wants to destroy the Void.

The Void and The Light fight in an epic battle, and the Void wins the battle …….
