From September through to December 2023, sixth class students from eleven different Dublin schools visited their local libraries to work with teams of creative writing mentors from Fighting Words.

At the workshops, the classes wrote a group story inspired by imagining Croke Park on match day. The resulting stories have one thing in common: they start in Croke Park.

The group stories, together with individual writing by some of the individual students, have been gathered together into a wonderful anthology which you can read below.
