Powerscourt - Valerie L.

Whenever I visit Powerscourt,

For hours I could remain,

At every turn it's a feast for the eyes

What a magnificent house and demesne.

Roses, rhododendrons of every hue.

The garden is beyond compare.

Sweet birdsong, the hum of the bees

The scent of flowers on the air.

Cascading water, towering trees

It's a treasure trove of delight

For nature lovers, gardeners too.

They're simply amazed at the sight.

Hidden gems can always be found

No one knows what's in store

Sika deer, squirrels,wildlife abound

As on and on you explore.
