Potato versus Aliens

Once a potato time on a scary night the employees opened the supermarket in space, the supermarket was called Mars Bar.

It was in a spider cave.

A group of Aliens ran in armed with potato peelers.

Scott the Half Wizard

St. Kieran’s School, Bray, 3rd/4th class, County Wicklow, 21st November 2019

One day there was a boy called Scott the half wizard.

He was camping on an island when he fell into some deep water, nearly drowning. It was a full moon.

Selena the powerful witch had turned him into a merman. 

Timmy and The Mashed Potato

Sienna’s Greatest Wish: Use Nanny’s mashed potato to smother the stick!

Sienna was walking through the park and Timmy the Stick killed her. 

She became a ghost and was petrified by Timmy ever since.

Dragorio and the Bees

Once upon a time there was a dragon named Dragorio. 

He ate too many sausages so he was fat, so fat that he couldn’t fly. 

He couldn’t even lick his toenails. But one day there came bees and they made fun of him because he was fat and couldn’t fly. 

Philly and Barry

Once upon a time in St Brendan’s, there was a football called Philly.

One day, Philly got kicked over the wall and was lost in the bushes.

“I wish I had a human body, so I could hop over the wall -but I don’t,” said Philly sadly.

Elizabeth and the Missing Dog

Elizabeth the Barbie Doll was playing on the slides in the park. 

After the slides, she brought her dog Jeff for a walk.

Elizabeth went to Centra to buy potatoes and dog food. She went to the till to pay. 

The Jammy Adventure

Once upon a time there was a villain, that was a pig wearing a tuxedo. His home was an evil lair in a barnyard, where everyone was evil – even the eggs.

Then Billy Bob the coffee cup was thrown away into a bin at the barnyard. 

Then Pig wearing a Tuxedo finds Billy Bob and jumps into the bin to get him.

Elizabeth and the Dragon

Once upon a time there was a dragon rider called Elizabeth. She was very shy. 

She was also very adventurous.

Elizabeth was friends with Dinky the Doughnut. She was very hungry and tried to eat Dinky. 

Joseph and the technicolour mystery

Joseph opened his eyes to find Billy the cat lying on top of him, licking his face.  Joseph groaned because he was tired.

He quickly threw Billy off his chest to check the clock.  It was 8 o’clock and he was already late for detective school, again!

He poured himself a bowl of dry cereal. There was nothing he hated more than milk.

Loveheart and Froggy go home

Once upon a time in the jungle there was a little puppy called Loveheart who was trying to find his way home.

In the lake he saw his friend Froggy the Frog. 

He saw that Barry the crocodile was in the water as well so Loveheart tried to save Froggy. 

Trisha and Her Donkey

Once upon a time there was a girl called Trisha who worked as a vet in California.

Trisha was in A&E with Bridget the donkey. Bridget had fallen down the stairs.

Trisha’s mam came into the room and she fainted. Bridget the donkey licked her face and Trisha’s mam woke up.

Owen and The Cursed World

There was once a half human, half robot, half alien called Owen. He was trapped underground. Owen’s cellmate was Maya, the half dog-half robot.

An evil villian called Mr. McTonkey who had taken over the world. Owen was furious that Mr. McTonkey had taken over the world. He wanted to take it back.

“I have an idea!” shouted Maya.

Finn and Jake’s Big Adventure

Once there lived a dragon called Finn and an orangutang called Jake.

They lived on dragon island.

They had never met a person before.

The reason they are on an island is because all the others dragons have been eradicated by people and Finn is the only dragon left.

Trarlee the Dinosaur

Once upon a time there was a dinosaur and his name was Trarlee. 

He wished to be human. His greatest fear was Fred the Ant who would crawl on him when he was evolving and prevent him from becoming human. 

When Trarlee felt sad he would go to the little hole next door where Flapper lived.

The Troubles of Jimmy and Timmy

One day Jimmy and Timmy were having a fight over skateboards and roller skates. They went outside to demonstrate which was better and which was faster.

Outside there was a talking banana who decided to watch to see who would win.

Both children went over to the banana to ask his opinion about which is better -  skateboards or roller skates.

Rex and Lana

D13 Educate Together, Junior Infants, 5th November 2019

Rex is a brave dinosaur. Lana is also a brave dinosaur. They live beside a volcano. Lana is a different dinosaur to Rex, she can reach the leaves. When Lana is eating leaves, Rex is eating little dinosaurs.

One day, smoke and fire comes from the volcano. Rex and Lana are brave. They stamp on the fire to put it out.

The Feather Heist

St Fiachra’s Senior National School, 6th Class, 4th November 2019

Stephen the Detective was sitting on the couch eating a slice of toast. He was also hiding inside because there were seagulls in the front garden.

The seagulls were looking in the window because Stephen was eating a slice of toast.

Stephen was thinking about why he was afraid of seagulls. One day he had been walking in a park with a slice of toast and the seagulls attacked him and stole the toast!

Fiachra agus Seáinín

Dúirt Fiachra, “Caithfidh mé imeacht, is gearr go mbeidh mo Mhama réidh ag siopadóireacht Tigh Mháille.”

Cube-Boy the Block

Powerscourt national school 3rd and 4th class, County Wicklow 24/10/2019

Cubeboy was on a boat being driven by Pilot cucumber towards Antarctica. 

However, on route in the Atlantic ocean the ship makes a mysteries turn to a canyon filled with hot fudge sauce. 

Cubeboy is getting very suspicious because he’s going somewhere he had not intended: the dessert desert. 

Candy’s Adventure

St Fiachra’s Junior National School, Artane, 2nd Class, 24th October 2019

One day Candy went out to play a game of football. Suddenly, Fluffy the Cat budged into the field and the game was full. Candy couldn’t play anymore.

When Candy went out of the field, Pokemon catchers caught her in a Pokeball. 

It was too dark and Candy was terrified. 

Mimi and her many Adventures

Camden Square Play Centre, Date: 23-10-2019

Mimi was walking in the forest until she saw a pig and then they became best friends. The pig was blue and was called piglet.

They went back to the farm and Mimi the cat got stuck in the window.  A metal piece of scaffolding fell on her head and knocked her out.  Piglet started running around oinking for help.

Suddenly, Buster the Dog came and piglet said, “Take my friend to Jake the Dog and Finn the human Doctors.”

Sour Cracker’s Adventures

Hi, my name is Sour Cracker and I’m going to be telling you the story of my life.

It all started when there was a sign hanging up around town that said:

The Missing Family

One day there was a turtle who was looking for his parents on the beach. 

Sheldon was his name. Nearby was a shoe. It was red with white laces, very old and broken down and smelly. 

“Why are you on the beach?” the shoe asked “and what are you looking for?” “I’m looking for my mum and dad.” 

Halloween Night

Once upon a time there was a unicorn called Furball and his best friend Guts the Zombie Pumpkin.

They were going Trick-or-Treating. One of the houses that they passed was so scary that their eyes nearly popped out of their heads. 

They walked up to the house and a strange creature popped up.

The Unexpected Clown Chase

One day at the park, on a spooky, scary Saturday, Jack was out with his friend James the silly boy.

He was riding his scooter and fell on his head. James then called Jacks mom.

 After a while, his mom got cranky. She told him off and confiscated his scooter.

Once upon a time there was a penguin called Mildred who lived in an icy, icy, icy, icy, land. 

Mildred was eating waffles with their best friend Felisha the icy cactus. 

But then Johnny the sloth came and took their waffles and they were having none of it.

FBI Family

One day in Las Vegas Jimmy the dog was doing exercise with his owner. Then his wife told him not to go outside but to mind the children.

His wife Jackie wanted him to mind the children and Devon the chicken they had adopted as a chick who was now his best friend.

Everyone realised she had joined the FBI.  He saw her on a mission on TV.

Once upon a time Philipape the Fish flew out of the toilet and got stuck onto Bob the Light bulb.

Bob swung and crashed against the wall and Philipape caught him.

“What a bright idea!” Philipape said.

In the woods in Neverland where the trees were made of cotton candy and the grass was chocolate, there was a unicorn called Curls.

She was half human half unicorn and she had a brother called Bibbly Bob. 

She also had an evil step brother called Fred the evil pony.

Bill, The Firesheep

SUDDENLY, there was a fire by the That tree, in Duckland.

Everyone decided to jump into the pond. Bill, the fireman sheep jumped out of his bed. 

He could see the fire from his window. He put on his fireman’s hat, got into his Lamborghini fire truck and saved the day.

John the Rock Picker

Once upon a time there was a human called John, who was a rock picker. His dream was to become a billionaire.

John’s greatest fear was a monster called Goro. Goro was big and tall, wore ancient armour and breathed fire!

One day John went to the beach and started picking up rocks that he liked. He worked for a man called Mr Kava. 

The Mysterious Soup

Once there was a man called Bob the soup maker and his greatest wish was to become the Manager of a famous restaurant.  

But the owner of the restaurant, the Chicken Wing Monster, wouldn’t let him.  

Bob would not stand up to him because of his evil side kick, Bouncing Betty, the clown.

Diary of a Rubber Hose

On 4th July, 1984 I was being used to hose down a bonfire. I was bored and lonely.  Suddenly I caught fire... , oh the irony!!  

I was burnt and alone until I met Drippy, the watering can and she put me out.

The Ketchup King

It all started one day in Jim’s giant vault.  He had been watching his favourite TV show “Runge McDuck” the night before as he had so much money he could afford to make his own television show. 

After Runge McDuck was over he had seen some shadows. He was checking to see if his money was still there after seeing them.

As he turned around he knocked Anthony, his favourite ketchup bottle on the ground and to his horror, he broke!

Piff versus Eurowise

One day, Piff the Pufferfish was sorting through his hats. 

He was in the sea dump, at the end of the coral reef.

He realised he had lost his beautiful, brilliant, majestic fedora.

The Hobo of Kevinopolis

HOBO Joe cowered in his box from the rain, in the second biggest city in Jamaica.

Joe and Strudel the rabbit were in the back streets of Kevinopolis. They were cold in the rain.

“I have a bad feeling,” says Strudel.

The Giant Pigeonzilla and the Hole of Hand Sanitizer

One time there was a very young pigeon called Stephen. He was pretending to have a shower because he HATED cleaning homself but his mum said he had to be clean.

In the shower he found a button that, when he pressed it, opened up a secret passage-way.

The passage led into a secret lair, where there was a majestic, golden haired donkey, holding a potion.

Larry the Chocolate Pig

Once upon a time there was a chocolate pig named Larry, who lived in Chocolate ville with his best friend, the mutated burger man called Burger-Made-Of-Fries.

The chocolate king was trying to find a NEW king.

Larry was the first in line to visit the king with his ukulele, because he wanted to show the king how talented he was and how good a king he would be.

Snatcher’s Crazy Day!

Once upon a time there was a shark , with crocodile feet and a hawk’s head called Snatcher.  He lived on a farm.

One day he went down town and he met a big potato that looked like a butt! The potato’s name was Axepert.

They went to McDonalds and met Ronald McDonald who threw spiders at them with a spider gun.

Once upon a time in a castle under the sea lived Jampson the potato with his best friend, Bill the cheese grater.

It was a pretty legitimate day but then suddenly, in Tesco-Under-The-Sea, he bumped into an asthmatic elderly woman, called Paula.

He screamed, “Ahh, an elderly asthmatic woman”, and turned around to run away, but right in front of his eyes was Bill, lying on the ground, asleep, with his pet, Patrick the pig.

Attack of the Butterflies

Billy was riding his bike down a narrow forest path with his pellet gun.  

He arrived at an old wrecked cottage where his best friend Timothy the flower pot lived.

“Hey Timothy”  said Billy, but the Flower pot just shrugged and didn’t reply.

Thompson's Toilet Terror

ONCE upon a time there was a unicorn wizard called Thompson; his greatest wish was to own a mini pet unicorn.

His only friend, was Steve the horse.

They lived in an old house in Knockananna, China. It was upside down.

The Pickle Pals Adventure

Once upon a time there was a pickle called Paul the Pickle. 

He lived in a universe called ‘The Kitchen’. 

Every night strange creatures would sneak into the kitchen and cook chicken wings. 

Speeder Man and The Baladas

“Can I go to the toilet?” Speeder Man asked. 

He went into the toilet and felt something bite him. 

The next day when he was hanging out with his girlfriend in The Yellow House, he saw a wall and wanted to climb it. 

A crow’s revenge

It was a rainy evening and Skirt and Fred were planning to go to the movies. 

Then their enemy John the Crow pooped on their heads. 

“I am going to bring you on the Jeremy Kyle Show” said Skirt the Sloth.

Frank’s Journey

One sunny and blue afternoon, Frank the Shark ate a person.

Ten minutes later his friend Johnny the Dragon came to meet him on the beach.

They had a deep conversation about life and what they wanted to do in the future. 

Banana Disease!

Mrs. Banankie was walking in a forest one day, when Tamu the monkey jumped out of a bush.  

She was walking to the Doctor’s because she had rottenitus, and felt rotten!  

Tamu followed Mrs. Banankie to the Doctors. 

Adventures of Peadar the potato guy

Once upon a potato time there was a normal potato in a kitchen.  

He was on a plate about to be eaten when he fell off the plate and landed on the ground. 

Ronald McDonald who was the one who tried to eat him, shouted “Five Second Rule”, and bent down to pick him up.

The cranky old man

Once there was a cranky old man called Billy and whenever a football went into his garden he would pop it. He hated kids.

The kids threw rocks at his windows, pie at his face and nick-knocked his door and then ran away.

One day Billy was cooking his dinner: a piece of cheese was lying on the table and came alive.
