Billy’s First Adventure

In 2021, there is a dog called Billy. His greatest wish is to have an owner. So, he is looking for one!

Billy is with Puppy in town trying to find an owner. They try to cross the street but a big car nearly rolls him over.

Billy spots a dog pound truck and realises that he might get purposely caught to find an owner.

A Mushroom Mystery

It was a very sunny day in Barcelona. Masha, the mini-mushroom person, was happily skipping across the enchanted forest floor with Daisy the flower-fairy, trailing grumpily behind.

Masha was really happy because there was a group of humans having a picnic nearby.

Masha was really fascinated by humans and their behaviour. However, Daisy was not too happy.

The Unbelievable Challenge

One night, Markus’ parents were driving down the road but they got into a terrible crash.

He had to go into an orphanage and his favourite person in the orphanage was his new mother, Mrs Helen.

It was a lovely cold winter’s day. Iceberg the Penguin had just woken up.

Iceberg was feeling very tired but he jumped out of bed, got dressed, had breakfast and left for school.

Iceberg slid across the road and past his best friend’s house. On the way, he saw his best friend Spotty the dalmatian.

In the Field of Wild Flowers

Once upon a time in a faraway land, a wizard woke up in a field of wild flowers. He was having flashbacks of a battle he was in, the night before.

He was fighting his enemy The Black-Cloaks man, in a dark, gloomy forest. Jimmy had thought that he had died. He was confused when he woke up.

Lillian was also in the battle and Jimmy had hurt her by accident.

Cheeto Ate the Child

Cheeto the Dragon and Carney the Dinosaur were eating Big Macs at McDonalds.

Suddenly, the waiter brought out a plate of cheetos.

Cheeto ran into the playpen and ate a child because he was so scared.

Slime-o and Jimmy Find the Slime Switch

Slime-o was in his house with his best friend, Jimmy the Martial Arts Master and the house was on fire!

They ran out of the house. Slime-o rang the slime fire brigade on his iSlime 12. 

Slime-o was terrified of fire and the sun because when he was young, the protective dome of his home planet of Slime-topia was shattered by meteorites.

Danny and Daragh’s Daring Dream

Once there lived a dishwasher called Danny. Danny and his best friend, Daragh the Dishwasher Tablet were having a good time.

They were playing a game called Wash the Dishes. They wanted to see the Golden Spoon. 

The Golden Spoon lived in a big castle. The castle was in the scrap yard which Danny feared.

Darth Ducky Vs The World

Darth Ducky and Bob the Broccoli were chilling out on the sofa.

They were in Darth Ducky’s spaceship. They were watching TV.

Suddenly, Jimmy Bob Joe the Duck popped up on TV. He was on the news because he was getting arrested. 

Christopher’s Great Adventure

Stanhope Street Primary School 6th Class, 5th May 2021

Christopher was a stray French bulldog in New York. He ran around the streets all day. 

One day Christopher saw an open door to a house. He ran inside. In the kitchen, he saw the Ma, the Da, a baby and a ten-year-old boy. They were shocked. 

The ma went out to the door to see who owned the dog. “I’m a stray dog,” Christopher told them.

The Mega Twenty Piece Chicken Nuggets

Rob and his best friend Ricky were playing with a lego set in Ricky’s playroom. Rob kept thinking about how he was going to defeat Charles, the Cereal Killer.

Charles killed all the Lucky Charms to make his rainbow afro. And, Ricky was thinking about how he was going to kill all the spiders.

Ricky’s Mam came in with ham and cheese sandwiches. She ran out of the playroom to be exact. She was very anti-social. 

The Great Betrayal

It was on a Sunday, in the dark caves of Ireland. In those dark caves there was a young man called Denzil.

He was alone. Hail came down and water came down through the rugged ceiling. 

Suddenly, he heard footsteps in the cave. As he rounded the corner, he saw a tall witch, also known as Sarah.

 It was a warm summer day. A boy was walking down a dark alleyway when he came across metal parts.

He first made a leg, then another leg and then he made his arms. He built a robot and made him really strong. He put wings on his arms so that he could fly.

Then he found a cape and made him a superhero. He names the robot Roboy.

Gold found a bracelet in his mother’s closet. He put it on and then he turned into a Superhero. 

When he became a Superhero he learned how to fly. Kitty the Cat found Gold the Superhero and wanted him to be her owner.

“Can you be my owner?” said Kitty the Cat. “I would love to!” said Gold.

Floofy the Posh Cat

Floofy is a cat model that dreams of having a Tesla. Then she meets Jeff the dog.

Jeff the dog introduced Floofy to Chickety. After a while they became best friends. Floofy and Jeff the robot dog are going to the Sahara desert.

Floofy wanted to model with the lions. Rex the robot dinosaur threatens to eat them if they don’t leave the Sahara.

Bob’s Big Adventure

It was an autumn morning and Big Bob was going to the police station. He got an assignment to go to the gas station. Big Bob got into his old, battered, red mini cooper. 

He went to the gas station and the doors locked behind him. He could hear people talking at the back of the door.

He’s hearing people talking at the back of the door, and he’s feeling half scared and half intrigued.

The wind brushed past Amy’s face as she hopped off the train. Her red hair flew on her face.Her best friend, Ellie, walked past and said hello.

They were on their way to their first mission. Ellie glanced at her watch and said that they’d be late.

They arrived in New York City. They ran through the city trying to find the meeting.

Bob’s Story

One day there was a dog called Bob. Bob had a best friend called Lola the Hamster.

He wished his owner, Michael, would be happy. But there was one problem: Bob was afraid of squirrels but his owner lived with them.

Don’t Mess with Old People

There once was an old man who lived alone in a small house in the countryside. His only friend was a cat. The cat had been a stray, but the man had adopted her and called her Sooty. Every day he and Sooty would walk through the woods. The old man could almost tell what Sooty was thinking sometimes. The man had no relatives except his niece who made cars in the city (the old man hated the city).

On a bright and sunny day, in the classroom, the teacher wanted to have a test to see how smart the kids were. Carl got an A+ on the test and he was happy. 

Chemistry was Carl’s favourite class because that was his best subject and the teacher, Mr Wilson was the nicest teacher in the world.

Carl got an A+ on the test but he wanted more so he added an extra plus with permanent marker on the walk home.

In the dangers of the jungle lived the orang-utan named Darwin and his trusty side-kick Turner the Turtle. 

Turner the Turtle was not slow he was super fast. Every year the banana wrangler Peely, came into the jungle to hunt all the animals. 

But of all the times he had come, he had only managed to hunt five animals. This year he is coming, but he won’t get anyone because a new superhero has arrived in the jungle.

The Buttery Toast Invasion

One beautiful summer morning, out of nowhere huge buttery monsters attacked Farmer Jim Bob Joe's house.

When the clock struck twelve, his best friend Squishy Watermelon Max got captured by the buttery toast. 

The buttery toast locked him up in a cell. Then Farmer Jim Bob Joe found a flying donkey and tried to capture it.

One day Sam was walking down the street when he came upon a baby pigeon. It was a bright summer's morning. 

Then he patted the pigeon. The pigeon seemed to be interested in something far away.

Nigel's Nonsense

Nigel is a 70-year-old man and he has been in hospital after he got knocked out in a boxing match by his 'friend' Isaac.

Nigel woke up to his cow, Bessie, licking his face. He gets a fright because Bessie is there and he's afraid of cows now.

When he got up, he found a load of cows in his kitchen rooting through his cupboards and they ate all the food so he had to go to the shop, but the shop closed down while he was in a coma. 

The War of the Water-balloons

Tiffany Thomas is a window cleaner and she's been working for two years and by her side are her two friends the Warthog called Roy and the Patricia the Parrot.

A chicken slides into view and in a gangster voice says, "Hey it's JBM, also known as Jimmy Buctas McNulty." 

A flying squirrel slides into view and says, "Ni!' There were a load of cows and pigs around so it was hard to slide into view without crashing into one. 

Jimmy says, "That's my secretary/best friend, Donna Buctas McNulty, who is also my cousin, my sista from another mista!"

One day Jack's Mom came into his room and found pictures of Chloe under his bed. When Jack came home he was grounded. 

Jack cried and he had to eat warm ice-cream with live worms inside the ice-cream.

While Jack was eating the ice-cream, his Mom ripped up the pictures and worse it was in front of him.

 

Nathan's Negative Nightmare: the beginning of a new evolution

One stormy night. Cold was the night.  In a small little village, in a small little street in a small little orphanage, in a small little kid there was a big imagination and a big dream.

Suddenly there was a big earthquake.  He was having a dream.  The earthquake was happening outside of his body and it sent him into his nightmare.

The first thing that came to his sight was a cat.  A talking cat.  An evil cat.

Jim and the Magic Pen

This story is set in Canada. A pen was being shipped from India to Canada. 

Jim Boston went to a library in Canada and finds a book that tells him what the magic pen can do. 

Then he turned to the next page and found a pen. He also finds a map that helps him find the magic pen.

Once upon a time there was a Panda-bear called Hugs. 

Her best friend was a Yorkie called Cocoa. She lived in a big back garden with her owner.

They were on holidays and she got lost in the woods.

Jimmy's Adventure in Search of the A+

Jimmy was on his way home from after-school study with Freddie, when he was ambushed by bullies. 

His best friend Freddie fell, so he had to run back to get a plaster for him, but it wouldn't really stick, because he couldn't find a solid part of his body – he had no bones. 

Jimmy started talking to Freddie and the bullies were wondering who he was talking to.

It was a Friday evening when Christopher the Cheese first came to the big fridge, he was bought from the shop by the evil Mr. Loaf.

Mr. Loaf was very indecisive about what cheese to buy. 

Christopher the Cheese was quite distressed on the way home as he was being squished by Mairead the Milk and the sausages in the bag. 

Small Dog, Big Dreams

The Legend of Jim the Cheetah

Jim the cheetah was born in 1902. When he was 5 years old he was bullied in school and he met Daly the lion. 

At the school made of bamboo they learned how to be faster than other animals, they learned how to survive in the wild and they learned how to hunt.

It’s a big heavy book. When he picks it up, he sees it’s a very old book, so he’s curious to know what it’s about. But there’s nothing in it, so he asks his teacher can he take it home. 

When he gets home, he opens the book. The book tells him: “Go to page 196”.

“Why are you in goal when you can’t even catch a cold?” said Brunch.

Early on Easter Sunday morning, the Easter Bunny left Easter eggs all the way up Croagh Patrick in Co. Mayo.

The Easter Bunny drew a map of where all the Easter eggs were hidden. 

The Easter Bunny dropped a copy of the map and a leprechaun found it.

Facing Your Fears

One day Lisa and Daisy were at the beach chilling out. Lisa was Daisy’s best friend. Lisa was super sporty - she had come first in every race on Sports Day, she was captain of the school football team and was always chosen first for everything…but her favourite sport was swimming.

Simon The Cyborg

Simon was a little boy aged twelve. He absolutely loved space. When he was in bed, Simon would dream of going to space in an enormous rocket. His favourite movie was any type of sci-fi movie, he had Space Invaders birthdays, space-related Christmas presents. In short, everything had a bit of space-related things in it.

Our story begins when Simon got a scholarship to be the first ever kid in space. Simon was over the moon, the day he said his goodbyes to his family and friends and set out on his journey to NASA.

Lost In War

One day there was a nine year old boy called Phil who lived in a small cottage on St. Catherine’s Road. World War Three was going to happen that day.

Phil was going to town with his mother. When they got there, it was very busy - everyone was getting their last bits and bobs. A few minutes later, a loud deafening noise was heard from all around town. Everyone rushed to their houses.

Phil was all alone!  His mother had left with everyone else. No one could be heard or seen.

The Easter Egg Hunt

I was hunting for Easter Eggs when suddenly I stumbled across the most amazing, gleaming, magical eggs. 

They were spotty and stripy, they were lying in the long green grass, and I looked around to make sure no one was looking then I quickly grabbed the two eggs and ran to look for some more, I found two more.

At the end, me and my two friends Lily and Molly sat down on the concrete and showed each other what was in them.

April Fool's Disaster

Mr. Smith would do all sorts of tricks, such as make her pet rabbit a human being, make himself invincible and make their house the size of a pea.

One normal day in November 2009, there was a fast food restaurant named Rade-x. They sold hot dogs and chips and stuff like that.

A boy named Tom went there every week to get a hot dog. Tom had a sister who was really into science and equations. Tom had to bring her to the fast food shop as well because she was too young to stay at home on her own. Every time they went, she would get chips. It was always the same. This time it was different.

A few days ago I was speaking to my Aunty Irma over the telephone. We were chatting about Olivia and when she was due. That's when it all began. I arrived at Irwa's, a cottage in the countryside, it was so familiar for me. I loved to help out, I was fascinated about the visit. "I couldn't be more happier that a pig in mud", I kept saying. 

I was talking about Olivia. During the night there was some strange noises coming from the pigsty enclosure outside.

The knife still bloody in her pocket. The others would collect him tomorrow and she would get her payment.

Braydon’s Search For His Parents

Braydon Bear woke up early and looked around the forest. The sun shone through the leaves, the air was damp. He yawned and looked for his mum and dad, Billy and Becky, but couldn’t see them. There was an elephant called Aiden.  His greatest wish was to go to the moon.  His greatest fear was sharks and mice.  His best friend was a unicorn called Hudson.

Aiden and Hudson were the best of friends.  This friendship started the day the zookeeper left the gate open for the elephant enclosure.  So all of the elephants were able to run free!  Every elephant went a different way.  Some went south, some north, some east and even west! But Aiden ran up the rainbow!

The Worst Day Ever

Ok, you noticed I am angry, but this time am so angry. I'll tell you the story. On my way to ballet I tripped. I thought my knee was broken but it was not. When I got to ballet my tights were tight and itchy. My ballet teacher said that I was disturbing her class so I got kicked out of class. When shopping with mum, I remember it was turn to pick the cereal. So I picked Rainbow Pops but mam said I have porridge and that it was a waste buying them.

Fergus had one eye. He was born that way and everyone thought he was very weird looking with only one eye, but he was used to that.

Dan’s dog Frank had chewed up his comics, his friend Mason was at his grandad’s house learning how to be a spy, his rugby ball was punctured, his brother had hogged the TV and his sister had hogged the computer. She wouldn’t even let him have one go on Snake Master’s Revenge 2, his favourite game ever!!

Cara always hogged the computer, she said it was for her homework but really she used it to watch videos on YouTube.

Face Your Fears

Once upon a time in a land far, far away there lived a crew of salty scary pirates on their ship, The Black Donkey.

Peter and Plexus were the top bananas. They’d met in Pirate School. Peter had a very little brother called Nugget. Boon was very booney, booting people off the ship when he felt like it. Furry had a hairy chest with a gold jewelled necklace. Claw had sharp fingernails. Double Duck Quack Quack was half duck.  He said “Quack quack” after every sentence.  Chef Dusty was the head chef. If he was angry, Chef Dusty would bang his meat cleaver - especially if anyone asked for seconds.
