The Colour of Winter

One early scary Saturday morning, I, Winter, the white wolf, was alone in the white snow.

I was sad because I felt whiter than ever and no-one could see me in the snow.

Little Chungus, was lying there beside me, asleep.  

The Taken Boy

The Taken Boy looked around his room, wondering who he should take next. 

The Taken Boy took the souls of people from the living world into the ghost world.

The Taken Boy lived in a house in the middle of time and each window looked out at a different time period.

Babathundae and his friend the Barbecue Sauce were on a rollercoaster.  

Babathundae left the cap off his friend.

Eight years later, Babathundae opened a curry shop called Babathundae’s Curry.

Anthem and the Dark

Once upon a time, Anthem the Phoenix was flying through the sky during the day when she saw her beautiful friend, Mabel the Hedgehog, and she said, “Are you lost?”

“No, I’m just looking for something to eat,” said Mabel.

Anthem invited Mabel over to her nest for dinner.

The World of Craziness

On a dark night Joe was walking around a city. Then Joe saw a chicken nugget on top of the Avenger Tower.

He passed through the Cemetery for Ironthings (CI). Joe sees a bird flying around hitting people. 

The bird hit Joe the Giraffe. Henry the Hoover fell off the building and died.

Felix Found a Friend

In 1666, there was a boy called Felix and he hated school and all the homework they gave. But most of all he hated his parents! 

More than ever he really wanted a friend. So he decided to make a plan to break out of boarding school.

So he said to himself maybe he'll walk around to calm himself down so that after he had calmed down he would be able to think of a plan.

The Legend of Frosty

His best friend was Joe the Pig. They were on a mission to find the perfect  owner for Frosty. 

Joe the Pig had escaped once from a farm, and he bought a plane and flew to Antartica.

My name is Ben and welcome to my life. I just moved to a new town, Manchester, and it's very hard for me. 

I haven't got a lot of friends. The only friend I've got is my dog Jimmy. 

The only thing that keeps me going is playing football. 

 

Kelly's Story

Once upon a time there was a demon called Kelly. Her best friend's name was a little dragon called Clumsy. 

Clumsy would always hide in Kelly's back-pack when she went to school. 

Kelly's family is evil, but she doesn't want to be like them. She doesn't really like school because she gets bullied. 

The Summer X- Games MMXVII

Christopher is a young 14 year old skateboarder who has a dream of winning a skateboard contest, but he realises Big Bob the Bully is signing up as well!

The competition he is entering is called the X-games - one of the world's most prestigious and impossible contests. 

Christopher has one week to prepare for the X-games.

The Adventures of Doggo and Chick

His best friend Chick Norris rang the door bell and said “Can I have tea with you, and here is your delivery.”

Doggo said, “Woof Woof, of course you can.”

'Every picture tells a story'

There once was a unicorn who had a best friend named Picklebob. The unicorn's name was Fluffy. She was super silly. 

One day, she decided that she wanted to fart out rainbows. That morning when she went to unicorn school, Mr McDonkey the teacher was mad at her for being late. She was late because she had been trying to fart all the way to school. Mr McDonkey said angrily, “you're late again, Fluffy!”

Jefferson Saves The World

Boston National School, Boston, Co. Clare, 4th Class, 28 April 2017

Jefferson is in school alone and he’s day-dreaming. He’s supposed to be cleaning out a cupboard because he was late for school. He comes across a book in the cupboard.

It’s a big heavy book. When he picks it up, he sees it’s a very old book, so he’s curious to know what it’s about. But there’s nothing in it, so he asks his teacher can he take it home. 

When he gets home, he opens the book. The book tells him: “Go to page 196”.

Revenge

Happy the Clown lived in America with The Twinz in a rickety old house.  

Every day, Happy and The Twinz ate slugs and snails for breakfast and broccoli for lunch.

Happy was afraid to work in the circus because of the children. 

Waffle Kaboom!

Bob-the-Waffle-Genie lived in a waffle, sitting around playing video games, waiting for someone to say the magic word and call on him.  

(‘Time for Breakfast’ is the magic word.)

Pussums the cat jumped in the window after he smelled lovely fresh waffles.

Gerry and Daryl’s Great Escape

Gerry lives in a flat in Manchester and he is scared of going down the stairs.

He is an inventor, so he has made little sticky paws for Daryl the Super Rat. 

This was so Daryl can go to the shop to get Gerry food and supplies.

One spring morning, Billy the bus driver was collecting the children to take them to school.  

After he dropped them at the school gates, he went back to the bus depot. 

He then jumped into his BMW, drove home and got Johnny his springer spaniel.

Jimbo Saves the Day

Squishy the marshmallow monster was sitting on a fudge log.  She was lost in the middle of the candy forest when suddenly she spotted a long chocolate river. 

The river reminded her of happier days and memories of swimming on Chocolannagh Lake near her home. 

A Girl, A Book and a Chicken

As the sun rose, Alison filled a red bucket with grain and skipped into the yard. She threw a handful of grain to the chickens. 

 As the chickens looked up, she noticed a new one with fluffy feathers and black specks covering its neck.

She chased the unusual- looking chicken out of the yard.

A Dog With a Secret

Billy the stray dog is crawling along the pavement on a cold, rainy day. 

The streets are very busy and there is lots of cars and noise and lots of people are walking into him. 

Billy has lovely black and brown fur but it is very muddy and dried up.

Snookie's Magical Adventure

Snookie the Chihuahua is sitting on Santa’s large red bag, biting his black boot laces in the sleigh at The North Pole.  

It’s just 27 days until Christmas Eve, and the reindeer are all training hard for the big day in hopes they will be picked for the final squad.

Rudolph was lifting weights, and suddenly a 100 kg weight dropped on his toe. 

The First Bunny in Space

Mr. Fluffybottom was in the playground playing soccer with Inflatable Frog.  Bruce and Brunch, the bullies, suddenly appeared from nowhere and kicked the ball away and started shouting.  

“Hey, Fluffybottom, you’re no good at football!” shouted Bruce.  

“Why are you in goal when you can’t even catch a cold?” said Brunch.

Becoming a President

Once there lived a pig called Jeff who had wings. And his best friend was Jerry the Farmer. 

Jeff’s greatest wish was to become President of Ireland. 

Sadly Jerry the Farmer was the poorest Farmer around. 

The War of the Fruit

Captain Cactus

Once upon a time there was chubby plant.  His name was Captain Cactus and he had a big wish to one day own a cactus mobile.  

His greatest and most massive fear was germs.  Microbes.

His best friend said to him when they were in the underground building.

His name was Mr Muffin. He wanted a girlfriend but he thought he was too ugly to get one.

The mad spy under the sea
