Fury and the Little Troll

St Mary’s JS, 2nd class, County Wicklow, 9th April 2019

One day Blue Blue the blue troll was looking for his best friend Ginger the gingerbread man. 

Once he found Ginger they began to play around a little chocolate lake.

Suddenly they heard a scattering noise in the bushes, little did they know it was Blue Blue’s greatest fear – Fury the massive red and black dragon. 

Sketch Boys

Inchicore Model School, Inchicore​, 6th Class, 9th April 2019

Mr. Grumbles the Teddy Bear was in his car with Billy the Bin sketching from the Gardai. 

The Gardai were chasing them because they stole V-bucks.

Their devious plan was to buy whatever they wanted. 

The Lost Love Life

St Columba’s National School, Glasnevin, Dublin 9, 3rd Class, 8 April 2019

Single Pringle was in his house looking out the window at all the married couples, feeling very sad.

He was so sad that he felt like running out and grabbing and stealing one of the girls from a couple.

It was Valentine’s Day and Single Pringle decided to finally find a girl to settle down with.  He went outdoors and down to the shops. 

Oslo’s Greatest Escape

St Patrick’s Primary School, Lombard Street, Galway, 5th Class, 5 April 2019

Oslo the horse, the quick healer, is in her barn. It’s 4 o’clock in the afternoon. She is eating -  but not a lot of food. She doesn’t get much food from her owners.

Fred the 4 year old, Oslo’s best friend, sneaks through a hole in the barn, carrying some of the dinner that he just had.

Oslo neighs at Fred. Oslo and Fred have a telepathic connection. They can talk to each other in their heads.

The Story of Bob the Fly

Mercy Primary School, St Francis Street, Galway, 5th and 6th class, 5 April 2019

Bob the fly is in an old dusty attic. He is walking around talking to his friend Billy the bee.

Bob wants to get out of the attic but he can’t fly out.

He asks Billy, “ Can you lift me out?”

Beast Dragon and Super Tiger

St. Mary’s Junior National School, Blessington, 1st Class, Co. Wicklow, 05 April 2019

One day Beast Dragon was flying high in the sky. He was waiting for his best friend Super Tiger. 

Finally he meets Super Tiger outside a sweet shop in Africa.

“I’m happy to see you” said Beast Dragon.

Becoming a President

Once there lived a pig called Jeff who had wings. And his best friend was Jerry the Farmer. 

Jeff’s greatest wish was to become President of Ireland. 

Sadly Jerry the Farmer was the poorest Farmer around.

Frank’s Journey

Kilcoole NS, 6th Class, County Wicklow, 21st September 2017

One sunny and blue afternoon, Frank the Shark ate a person.

Ten minutes later his friend Johnny the Dragon came to meet him on the beach.

They had a deep conversation about life and what they wanted to do in the future. 

Banana Disease!

Mrs. Banankie was walking in a forest one day, when Tamu the monkey jumped out of a bush.  

She was walking to the Doctor’s because she had rottenitus, and felt rotten!  

Tamu followed Mrs. Banankie to the Doctors. 

Adventures of Peadar the potato guy

Once upon a potato time there was a normal potato in a kitchen.  

He was on a plate about to be eaten when he fell off the plate and landed on the ground. 

Ronald McDonald who was the one who tried to eat him, shouted “Five Second Rule”, and bent down to pick him up.

The cranky old man

Once there was a cranky old man called Billy and whenever a football went into his garden he would pop it. He hated kids.

The kids threw rocks at his windows, pie at his face and nick-knocked his door and then ran away.

One day Billy was cooking his dinner: a piece of cheese was lying on the table and came alive. 

Chuck, Noah and the Black Plague

Chuck-the warrior, lives in a tent outside a castle.  His greatest wish is love, freedom and peace. He uses a bow and arrow and he is Welsh.

He is afraid of the ghost of the black plague, slugs and creepy crawlies. 

Noah is outside in a meadow in the sun. There is a beautiful forest in the distance. It reminds Noah of Sherwood Forest. 

What’s in my closet?

Nicholas, the ghost, had never gone out before.  He was the closet ghost! 

His friend Jessica had been bullied and he was so upset because she had come home from school crying.  

That day Nicholas decided to put a stop to it!
