Oslo’s Greatest Escape

St Patrick’s Primary School, Lombard Street, Galway, 5th Class, 5 April 2019

Oslo the horse, the quick healer, is in her barn. It’s 4 o’clock in the afternoon. She is eating -  but not a lot of food. She doesn’t get much food from her owners.

Fred the 4 year old, Oslo’s best friend, sneaks through a hole in the barn, carrying some of the dinner that he just had.

Oslo neighs at Fred. Oslo and Fred have a telepathic connection. They can talk to each other in their heads.

The Story of Bob the Fly

Mercy Primary School, St Francis Street, Galway, 5th and 6th class, 5 April 2019

Bob the fly is in an old dusty attic. He is walking around talking to his friend Billy the bee.

Bob wants to get out of the attic but he can’t fly out.

He asks Billy, “ Can you lift me out?”

Beast Dragon and Super Tiger

St. Mary’s Junior National School, Blessington, 1st Class, Co. Wicklow, 05 April 2019

One day Beast Dragon was flying high in the sky. He was waiting for his best friend Super Tiger. 

Finally he meets Super Tiger outside a sweet shop in Africa.

“I’m happy to see you” said Beast Dragon.

Becoming a President

Once there lived a pig called Jeff who had wings. And his best friend was Jerry the Farmer. 

Jeff’s greatest wish was to become President of Ireland. 

Sadly Jerry the Farmer was the poorest Farmer around. 

Toby, The Pig With Wings

Scoil an tSeachtar Laoch, 4th Class, 4th April 2019

One day, Toby the pig was eating in the farm. The night before, he was dreaming about being a flying block of cheese.

Toby noticed the grumpy farmer coming his way. 

The farmer stomped over and Toby ran as fast as he could. 

Gisha’s Wish

Brierhill National School, Co. Galway, 4th Class

Gisha the cross-eyed pig lives in a big mansion. She is very popular at school and everybody knows her.

One day, Gisha’s best friend Millie the chubby pug went to the mansion. 

Gisha came to the door and said to Millie, “Wipe your dirty paws!” They walked into the mansion.

Fruit Friends

Once upon a time there was a banana called Bean.

He walked down the street and met Joey the Flying Strawberry. 

Joey was flying in the air.

Aliana’s Journey

​Brittas Bay NS, 4th class, County Wicklow, 15th March 2017

One day, Aliana Flame was walking through the woods, with her pet wolf, Nom-nom when another wolf jumped out and then ran away in five seconds.  

Her eyes followed the wolf and then she saw the wolf fall off a bridge.  

Part of Aliana wanted to see if the wolf was ok and another part thought it might be part of a trap.  

 

George vs Bob and the Juicer

Once upon a time George the walking talking orange fell off the counter.  

Bob, the apple on the counter, pushed him over.  

George was rolling over on the kitchen floor and then he saw the family dog, Billy.  

Super Rashers

Once upon a time there was a big fat flying pig called Rashers and his best friend Milky Way the cow. 

Even though Milky Way was Rasher’s best friend he always tried to eat him. 

Milky Way’s father is called Steaky and he wants to eliminate pigs from the world. 

Mack McTrigger, Secret Agent

Once upon a time there was an agent called Mack Mc Trigger and he had a pistol in his hand. 

Mack Mc Trigger’s greatest wish was to be able to teleport.

His arch nemesis James Blond was able to teleport and he was a better agent than Mack.

Once upon a time there was a really good footballer called Alex. 

He wanted to win the world cup.

He woke up in his bedroom and went to his brothers Ross’s house.

Hidden Powers

ONCE upon a time there was a girl called Shaníqwa Awqínash.

Her best friend’s name was Erodos.

His name was Erodos because, ever since he fell while running from his brother and his friend, he has accidentally said erodosaclidus – at the end of every sentence.

His greatest wish, more than anything was to have a magical flying toilet.

A Swan Called Heather
