The Lost Diamond

It was Mia’s fourteenth birthday. Mia was an explorer and her birthday wish was to find the rarest diamond in the world.

Her pet hamster’s name was Johnny and he was her best friend.

Mia went to give Johnny some food but he wasn’t in his cage. Mia stared, confused, at the cage.

The Chronicles of Bob

Pope John Paul II National School, Malahide, Co. Dublin, 5th Class, 19 June 2019

A long time ago in a small village, there was a really thin man. The man was called Bob and his greatest wish was to live in a swamp with a troll.

Since he hadn’t gotten his wish, he began to stress eat. Bob often hung out with his best friend, a chicken called Rodney.

Once Bob started stress-eating, he tried to eat Rodney, but Rodney got away.

The Adventures of Chicken Nugget and Polly

Chicken Nugget goes to the bookstore and buys a diary, but he can’t write in it because he’s too fat to sit down.

Chicken Nugget has no arms, so he can’t pull up the chair. He tries to do it, but he falls to the ground. 

He rolls out the door, and keeps on rolling for a full half hour.

Bloopy and the Beast

Bloopy was made in a factory and he was a shape shifter. He was dreaming about his imaginary friend.

Bloopy lived in little hut in the forest. The people in the factory had gone for wood and they had accidentally lost him there.

Left alone in the forest, Bloopy turned his hut into a high tech zone.

One day a boy called Jaws lived on a hill. 

He had a big head but a body like a stickman. 

Everyday when he went to the shops to get milk for his breakfast, he had to go down the hill.

An Epic Adventure

Once there was a Magic Oil Tree called Ben. And his best friend was called Rose. 

She grew there next to the Oil Tree. They lived in the Haunted Forest where strange things always happened like other trees were alive and could walk. 

But each tree every single night disappeared. All except for the Magic Oil Tree. 

Survival

I ‘ve been here for almost seven years and this is where I feel most at home. 

When I was five years old I lost my parents in a house fire. 

Then I wondered off into the forest and met a wolf called LaLa and he brought me to his wolf-pack.

Junior the Scary Clown

Once there was a boy called Junior. His father was a clown in the circus, so his father made him become a clown. 

Junior the Clown’s best friend was Zak, the boy with fire powers. Junior helped Zak to try and control his powers. 

Junior was always bullied in school.

The Mystical City

Once upon a time, there was a boy and his name was Jeffrey. 

A good many years ago (in dragon years, ten human years is actually one dragon year) he fell down a hole and met this girl, Demolita. 

She gave him a drink that was poisoned and made him turn into a half-dragon, half-human.

“Be quiet! The demon might hear you.”

“I don’t care about that demon!” exclaimed Chewey Lewey. “Who’s that demon anyway?”

Da Legend Pug, Puglished

Once upon a time in a DogLand far far away, when a dog made his own planet, Da Legend Pug would rise and be the hero of his land. His best friend is Ze Legend Doge. 

Far far away in the planet of Earth there’s The Evil Chewahaha trying to take over his planet and he doesn’t even know about it. 

Ze Legend Doge is spying on Earth to see what the Evil Chewaha is doing.

The Doughnut Dragon

Once upon a time, there was a doughnut who called himself Donny the Doughnut. 

Donny the Doughnut didn’t like the other doughnuts because they were trying to take his place at being the greatest doughnut of all time. 

And there was his best friend, Harry the Hotdog. Donny the Doughnut was sad since a lot of his friends were eaten. 

One Pile of Bones

It was 1977. Bottle flipping was just made up by a random guy on the street. There was a bottle flipping competition on Bear Lake. 

Skeldrik wanted to sign up for the bottle flipping competition. 

He had to go to Albert Street to sign up. They wouldn’t let him sign up because he was a skeleton. 

Ellie the Magical Girl

One day there was a girl called Ellie and her best friend was a dog called Diggy. 

Ellie could see magical creatures. They went out to the park and they were playing ball. It was getting dark.  

Then there was a big cackle and there was a bully disguised as a clown.

Once upon a time in Popoville, there was a dog called Max with an owner who always talked and chit-chatted.

One day when Max was barking, “stop talking,” at his owner, something strange happened. His owner stopped blabbing.

Then, after sixty seconds of silence while his owner Bob gave him food, the talking started again. It was like a virus.

Sally's Crash on Mars

Once upon a time Sally the Astronaut was flying in her rocket ship. When she was flying, she crashed into Mars.

She searched for the parts of her rocket, when she fell into some alien poo.

Sally wished that her best friend was there with her, when suddenly Emma the mermaid appeared! 

The Day of the Llamalympics

There was a Llama who lived in a tree. One day he met a sloth in the tree that was eating leaves. 

The sloth’s name was Timmy, and they became best friends. Lo Llama was afraid that he was going to grow a unicorn horn, as then his friend Timmy wouldn’t like him.

One night he dreamt of winning the Golden Toilet- he had seen a poster on his tree that day. The poster had said that there was a competition.

Poosh’s Great Escape

One Tuesday Poosh was sitting at home on a couch watching Tom&Jerry on TV. 

Suddenly he sneezed and his friend BBJ the duck appeared. Poosh screamed.

BBJ said: “Ronald the chicken is outside trying to capture us.” 

Nutty and Rex's Adventure

On a Tuesday under a tree sat Nutty and Rex. All of a sudden, Nutty ran up the ginormous tree. 

Nutty was so huge, he could only climb ginormous trees. Nutty says “Come catch me!”

“But I can’t climb!” replied Rex “Instead of playing chase, let’s go find this magic key you keep talking about”

Mr Chang’s Quest

Once there was a man called Mr. Chang. He had a friend called Canning, who was a hurl with a face.

Mr. Chang is afraid of chickens, and lives in a tree house in China, in the middle of the tropical rainforest.

His greatest wish was to find a flying pig to ride on, but he had never seen a farm with a pig on it.

Cheese Wars

Mrs. McCrankey was talking to Rodger, the cheese shark, how to turn the Pacific Ocean into Nacho cheese.  But then Rodger said:

“But what if my cousin Cheddar turns the sea into Cheddar cheese?”

“We could get an army of hot Nacho cheese sharks” replied Mrs. McCrankey.

Pitchungus on the Loose

Once upon a time there was someone called Pitchungus who was a blue half rabbit, half bird. 

He had a best friend named Mr. Shark.

One day, big Pitchungus jumped out of the hole that Mr Bush had trapped him in.
