The Tale of The Mysterious Girl

The Naughty Leprechaun

Early on Easter Sunday morning, the Easter Bunny left Easter eggs all the way up Croagh Patrick in Co. Mayo.

The Easter Bunny drew a map of where all the Easter eggs were hidden. 

The Easter Bunny dropped a copy of the map and a leprechaun found it.

Facing Your Fears

One day Lisa and Daisy were at the beach chilling out. Lisa was Daisy’s best friend. Lisa was super sporty - she had come first in every race on Sports Day, she was captain of the school football team and was always chosen first for everything…but her favourite sport was swimming.

Simon The Cyborg

Simon was a little boy aged twelve. He absolutely loved space. When he was in bed, Simon would dream of going to space in an enormous rocket. His favourite movie was any type of sci-fi movie, he had Space Invaders birthdays, space-related Christmas presents. In short, everything had a bit of space-related things in it.

Our story begins when Simon got a scholarship to be the first ever kid in space. Simon was over the moon, the day he said his goodbyes to his family and friends and set out on his journey to NASA.

Lost In War

One day there was a nine year old boy called Phil who lived in a small cottage on St. Catherine’s Road. World War Three was going to happen that day.

Phil was going to town with his mother. When they got there, it was very busy - everyone was getting their last bits and bobs. A few minutes later, a loud deafening noise was heard from all around town. Everyone rushed to their houses.

Phil was all alone!  His mother had left with everyone else. No one could be heard or seen.

The Easter Egg Hunt

I was hunting for Easter Eggs when suddenly I stumbled across the most amazing, gleaming, magical eggs. 

They were spotty and stripy, they were lying in the long green grass, and I looked around to make sure no one was looking then I quickly grabbed the two eggs and ran to look for some more, I found two more.

At the end, me and my two friends Lily and Molly sat down on the concrete and showed each other what was in them.

April Fool's Disaster

Ava was a little girl who loved science. She was inspired by her dad (Mr. Smith), who was a mad scientist.

Mr. Smith would do all sorts of tricks, such as make her pet rabbit a human being, make himself invincible and make their house the size of a pea.

One normal day in November 2009, there was a fast food restaurant named Rade-x. They sold hot dogs and chips and stuff like that.

A boy named Tom went there every week to get a hot dog. Tom had a sister who was really into science and equations. Tom had to bring her to the fast food shop as well because she was too young to stay at home on her own. Every time they went, she would get chips. It was always the same. This time it was different.

Tom's Day at the beach

The Spooky House

Once upon a time there was a little girl called Mary. One day she went to a haunted house. The house was called The Spooky House.

The house was known to be cursed and inside was a ghost named Creepy. He used to be a boy, but he went into the house one night, even though he was told not to.

He didn't listen. He did not leave before sunrise, so he got turned into a ghost.

Wild

She looked and there was no one there. She was on the news because she was lost and her parents were worried.

She was scared, then Olivia was more scared. “Why do you ask?” because there was a……bear.

One day, Ruff woke up (after dreaming about travelling the world). Then he went outside. A boy threw a ball and Ruff ran and ran and ran. 

Ruff kept on running and running. Eventually, the ball stopped and Ruff looked around. He was in a town but he wasn't in his own town - it was different. 

Annabelle the Space Hedgehog

Their Fear is Mud

A few days ago I was speaking to my Aunty Irma over the telephone. We were chatting about Olivia and when she was due. That's when it all began. I arrived at Irwa's, a cottage in the countryside, it was so familiar for me. I loved to help out, I was fascinated about the visit. "I couldn't be more happier that a pig in mud", I kept saying. 

I was talking about Olivia. During the night there was some strange noises coming from the pigsty enclosure outside. 

The Kids Are All Right

Angelina’s Task

Charlie lay motionless at her feet. She had done it. A million thoughts raced through Angelina’s mind but she had one question, “Where to hide the body?”

A pang of guilt hung over her, but there was no time to be emotional. Though he was three years older than her, Angelina managed to heave her brother into a bush and started to make her way home. The knife still bloody in her pocket. The others would collect him tomorrow and she would get her payment.

Devil and Stretch Man

Sam and Dan were working in a nuclear power plant in Dublin. They didn’t really like their jobs there but they had a roof over their heads so they weren’t too unhappy.

The news presenter said "a fairy came over to the garda station and is giving nightmares to children". Oh,no cried Emma H." That's the nightmare fairy who's saying the nighttime fairy is having nightmares to children" cried Niamh.

 

Braydon’s Search For His Parents

Braydon Bear woke up early and looked around the forest. The sun shone through the leaves, the air was damp. He yawned and looked for his mum and dad, Billy and Becky, but couldn’t see them. He checked behind some other trees but no luck. He went to the lake and washed himself and decided to go in search of them. Braydon’s best friend Jennifer Giraffe was preening nearby.

“Jennifer, can you help me search for mum and dad? They’re nowhere to be found.”

It’s Amazing What Happens When You Go Over A Rainbow

There was an elephant called Aiden.  His greatest wish was to go to the moon.  His greatest fear was sharks and mice.  His best friend was a unicorn called Hudson.

Aiden and Hudson were the best of friends.  This friendship started the day the zookeeper left the gate open for the elephant enclosure.  So all of the elephants were able to run free!  Every elephant went a different way.  Some went south, some north, some east and even west! But Aiden ran up the rainbow!

The Worst Day Ever

Ok, you noticed I am angry, but this time am so angry. I'll tell you the story. On my way to ballet I tripped. I thought my knee was broken but it was not. When I got to ballet my tights were tight and itchy. My ballet teacher said that I was disturbing her class so I got kicked out of class. When shopping with mum, I remember it was turn to pick the cereal. So I picked Rainbow Pops but mam said I have porridge and that it was a waste buying them.

The One Eyed Boy

Once upon a time there was a boy called Fergus. Now Fergus was not a normal boy. 

Fergus had one eye. He was born that way and everyone thought he was very weird looking with only one eye, but he was used to that.

When he reached the age of 10 he only started school because he was home schooled, "could you imaging that", he hardly made any friends.

Grace and The Trouble With Kittens

Once upon a time there was a girl called grace. Grace loooooooved kittens. She even made a poem called: Kittens. Ok lets move on from her poem.

She love kittens so much she had kittens on every thing, clothes, pillows, curtains, and even wallpaper. But the trouble was that she had no kittens and what was the fun in that?

Everyone except her had at least one cute pet. Everyday after school she would go to the pet shop and see if they were selling any kittens.

Pete the potato

Once upon a time Pete the Potato met his best friend Spaghettio the Mafia boss who was working at the Couch Potato Company. 

Pete’s greatest wish was to join this company and finally he had a chance. 

Spaghettio came with Pete Potato to the interview, but on his way in he fell on his face and smashed a window which caused him to go back in time. 

Cookie’s Ketchup Escape

Cookie’s big dream is to jump off a giraffe’s head.

Unfortunately the boss in the dreaded ketchup factory is trying to stop him.

One day, while he was walking down the road, he saw a pineapple sitting on a branch in a tree and a vicious dog chasing it.

The Dirty Night

“I don’t know what it’s like to be a human but I really really want to” whispered Laura. 

“But if you’re a person there’s so many I won’t notice you anymore” explained Ben in a shout. 

British Bacon meets his biggest fear

One day, there was a pig called British Bacon, who was hungry.  

He was really tempted to eat himself!  But his best friend, Cabbage Patch, the crash landing panda fell on top of him and shouted “Don’t eat yourself, I’ll buy you a nice piece of cake”

“Get off me!  Pick on someone your own size” said British Bacon.

Galaxy and the War of Nunn

Once upon a time, Galaxy the magical unicorn-cat-dragon met Rainbow the magical dog. 

They lived in a magical land called Rainbow Town. One day Nunn the Devil came to town and attacked. 

Galaxy and Rainbow made a plan to defeat Nunn the Devil.

The Lost Dog

Bella, the Fairy was born in 2016, but she was also born in 1991, to be specific March 15th.

She lived in a Princess Palace, a palace with a difference. There were knights protecting the castle. 

One of them had a black spirit, and he was called The Black Knight.

The Killer Vet

“Ruffy Ruffy, I don’t know what to do” said Sergio Biscuits to his best friend. “We have to go to the vet, you’ve broken your leg”   

Sergio Biscuits hopped on his moped and squeezed Ruffy Ruffy into the sidecar.

But the sidecar fell off and Ruffy Ruffy broke another leg!  

Mr Cranky Changes

Once upon a time there was a man called Mr Cranky. He didn’t like kids. 

His biggest dream was for all kids to go away. Whenever he sees a kid he screams, “Where’s Mommy?” 

Whenever he visits his best friend Mr Chomp the Crocodile he says, “Why does there have to be kids in this world?”

One Baltic night Taco Tommy was in Taco Bell being created.

Danny the Dalmation was walking around and a robot called Metro come along and blasted him. This was how he got his superpowers.

When I was young, my sensei taught me how to fight and use shurikens.

The Evil Potatoes

After school his mom put down his dinner – but there were potatoes on it! So Logan screamed: “Ahhhhhhhhh” and ran out the door.

Mrs Stinksalot & The Lost House

Mrs Stinksalot got up one morning. She wanted to get a Poop Emoji costume for Halloween.

When she got to Dunnes she bought the costume and then never took it off.

She went back home and her house wasn’t there. She had a big mansion and it was gone.

Curls the Half Human Half Unicorn

In the woods in Neverland where the trees were made of cotton candy and the grass was chocolate, there was a unicorn called Curls.

She was half human half unicorn and she had a brother called Bibbly Bob. 

She also had an evil step brother called Fred the evil pony.

Bill, The Firesheep

SUDDENLY, there was a fire by the That tree, in Duckland.

Everyone decided to jump into the pond. Bill, the fireman sheep jumped out of his bed. 

He could see the fire from his window. He put on his fireman’s hat, got into his Lamborghini fire truck and saved the day.

John the Rock Picker

Once upon a time there was a human called John, who was a rock picker. His dream was to become a billionaire.

John’s greatest fear was a monster called Goro. Goro was big and tall, wore ancient armour and breathed fire!

One day John went to the beach and started picking up rocks that he liked. He worked for a man called Mr Kava. 

The Mysterious Soup

Once there was a man called Bob the soup maker and his greatest wish was to become the Manager of a famous restaurant.  

But the owner of the restaurant, the Chicken Wing Monster, wouldn’t let him.  

Bob would not stand up to him because of his evil side kick, Bouncing Betty, the clown.

Bozo the Horse

Diary of a Rubber Hose

Once upon a time there was a rubber hose called Borris Ink…

On 4th July, 1984 I was being used to hose down a bonfire. I was bored and lonely.  Suddenly I caught fire... , oh the irony!!  

I was burnt and alone until I met Drippy, the watering can and she put me out.
