Killer Glitter

One day there was a square named Larry and he was playing a game with his best friend, Billy the Circle.

Billy asked Larry, “Why are you so afraid of glitter?”

Larry looked shocked. “I was in a dark place and I saw a glowing thing covered in glitter. 

Doughnut Attack!

It was a cold Saturday morning and there were doughnuts for breakfast, but Stacey didn’t want any. 

When she was in a doughnut shop in Notre Dame two months ago, her parents had been parentnapped by a giant doughnut with a moustache and a top hat. 

He had been disguised as a statue so he could strike at any moment.

The Mission of the Golden Cape

Once upon a time there was a turtle named Bob, who was going on a secret mission to get the Golden Cape.

The Golden Cape would make Bob a super villain. But the cape was heavily guarded by his mam. 

Bob’s best friend Flappy Joe went on the mission with him.

Aunt Winfred Did It!

Mercedes the Ford wakes up in the junk yard. There are  cars being crushed around Mercedes.

“Oh no! I'd better go because there are cars being crushed around me,” he cries.

But Mercedes discovers that he has no fuel in the tank. He looks up and sees a man walking around the junkyard.

Jake and Cob Cob’s Big Journey

Jake the Giraffe was getting experimented on and turned red, black and evil. 

Jake was getting ready to turn a piece of corn into a proper Cob Cob that could talk.

Jake and Cob Cob both turned into evil people. They changed bodies and they started their journey.

The Biggest Fattest Boxer Alive

Once upon a time there was a guy called Bod(e). 

He was walking down the street bumping people into oblivion with his belly, while thinking about beating Jim-John the greatest boxer in the world. 

He went home and started sunbathing. Then Jim-john came along and hit him on the belly with a baseball bat. 

Goldie’s Adventure

One day Goldie the goldfish was wondering, “What would it be like to be able to swim? 

Seeing as I can’t swim, my fear would be that some girls could come around and catch me.”

Goldie lived in a lake in a forest. She looked around and said, “I wish Fergus was here.”

Wake Up and Smell the Bacon

Deep in the forest, Neville the flying green pig who wears a snorkel is eating tree bark, when suddenly the entire forest explodes!!!

He knows his best friend Elvis is there, because he can smell bacon.

Neville takes a piece of crispy bacon off himself and eats it so that he doesn’t eat his best friend.

Prom Dream

St Brigid’s Girls National School, Glasnevin, 6th Class, 5th June 2019

Priscilla the popular girl and Felicia her best friend were in school. 

Priscilla said, “Joey looked at me today and it’s only our first day.” Felicia said, “Oh, that’s nice.” In her head she was thinking stay back, he’s mine.

Priscilla says,” Let’s go to the bathroom to top up our makeup. 

Ice-Cream Meltdown

One day Johnny the Ice-Cream was in a magical ice-cream shop. 

His best friend Jeffy the Ketchup Guy was frozen in the ice-cream freezer. 

Johnny was there to get a new sprinkle cut.

Bruce the Grape

Once upon a time, there was a baby grape called Bruce the grape. 

Twenty four years later he grew a moustache. 

He bumped his head which made him afraid of blueberries and his moustache fall off.

Purple the mermaid

Purple the mermaid lived in the sea. She can swim, she’s really good at swimming.

She likes to play mermaid tag, mermaid hide-and-seek, and mermaid ball. 

She’s best friends with a fish called Goldie. Goldie is orange. 

Lucky Ducky

Once upon a time there was an Irish duck called Luck.  He lived outside a sock factory in Rathdrum.

He hadn’t yet hatched, so he couldn’t see much, but he had the finest looks!  He knew this because his egg was full of mirrors.

As he started pecking out of his shell, he saw a rainbow and a strange bearded dog barking at ducks who were waving an English flag.  

Geoff and Bob’s Disaster

Geoff wanted to go to London. He wanted to win

Britain’s Got Talent. He was also entered in a Rubik’s Cube competition on the same day, which was also in London.

Geoff’s friend Bob the Tennis Ball just wanted to play tennis and break the ice cream eating world record. 

The man with no limits

St Francis NS, Newcastle, 5th and 6th class, County Wicklow, 29th May 2019

In an alley, where nobody goes, there lived a homeless man called Jeff.

One day, a bin truck got stuck in the alley and no one could move it.  So Jeff decided to live in it.

He liked living there because he could eat scraps.

Ricky and Timmy are Race Cars

Ricky was in Wal-Mart. He was feeling very cranky because he couldn’t find his best friend, Timmy the Scooter.

Timmy said “Excuse me,” and Ricky saw that he was actually riding Timmy.

“Get me over to the Reese’s Pieces!” Ricky shouted.

The Magic Bread

One day Donko the Duck woke up from a lovely dream about lovely delicious Brodon’s fresh bread. 

All the other ducks in the pond teased him. His best friend, Random Raccoon, would randomly jump on people and on ducks. 

This embarrassed Donko. Random Raccoon had a disease which he kept secret.

Bob’s Weird Life Story

Bob the rock was sleeping in some dirt. It was raining. He woke up and turned on the television.

He watched Ireland’s Got Talent and then Father Ted.

When Father Ted was finished, The Rock Pot was on. The Rock Pot was a game show for rocks. 

Uncle Eliza

 Mary couldn’t believe what she was hearing; her beloved Uncle John was gone. It was going to be a long voyage. Mary hugged her doll tightly.

‘Oh why is life so hard!’ said Mary thinking about her Uncle.

Her doll, Eliza, had extremely soft, black hair that almost seemed real, and although her frock had once been lovely and new it was now old. 

Aither’s Adventure

Aither Astroid was a white fox with blue horns and black wings that lived in a painting in the Crawford Art Gallery. He sneaks out at night sometimes to get food.

Every day when the children come they touch and stroke the painting and he doesn’t like it! 

Every time they touch the painting he disappears into another picture.

The Attack of the Bananas

In the dangers of the jungle lived the orang-utan named Darwin and his trusty side-kick Turner the Turtle. 

Turner the Turtle was not slow he was super fast. Every year the banana wrangler Peely, came into the jungle to hunt all the animals. 

But of all the times he had come, he had only managed to hunt five animals. This year he is coming, but he won’t get anyone because a new superhero has arrived in the jungle.

Rebecca’s birthday

It was Rebecca’s 11th birthday. Her party was at her Granny’s house.

Rebecca’s mum had made the chocolate cake, which was Rebecca’s favourite.

Rebecca’s Granny gave her a present. The present was in a small colourful box.

The Good, The Squishy and The Ugly

One day, Baguette Boi and his best friend Spread, the Lump of Butter, were at a cafe. 

Spread had to be careful about heat, so they were sitting outside. 

This was the fanciest cafe in town. There was a TV in the cafe and on the TV, the news reporter was talking  about sightings of Blippys in the city.

Cookie Gang

Galway Educate Together National School, Newcastle Road, Galway City, 5th Class

Oscar the Oreo lives in the “Reduced To Clear” section in Pesco. His friend Patricia the Pie lives on the shelf opposite him. 

They meet up in a bar underneath the shelves. Obese Owen lives underneath the Oreo shelf.

Patricia and Oscar argue about who tastes better. Oskar says, “I’m nicer because I’m a cookie.”

Peter is in a Pickle

St. Laurence’s NS, Greystones​, 4th class, County Wicklow, 23rd May 2019

Once upon a jar, Pickle Peter was standing on another pickle trying to get out of the dreaded jar.

Steve the Olive, his best friend, was too weak to open the jar so Peter started using his shoulder to knock the jar over and break both his and Steve’s jar.

The person in the house was getting dinner ready so had Steve and Peter’s jars out on the counter. 

A Troublesome Spice Bag

As Harvey the Beagle was walking down the street, he saw an ad for a spice bag.

Harvey saw the spice bag and thought that it looked super delicious. His friend Buster the Pig came along from the farm.

“Hey, Buster, come look at this,” said Harvey. “I really want to know how this spice bag tastes.”

The Sausage Thief

Hi, I’m Barry and today I saw a blue van and it chased me. 

I ran away but I noticed Sammy in the rear window of the van. 

Sammy the Sausage has been my best friend since I was born. 

The Adventures of Pug Man and Max the Husky

Once in a dog’s life, Pug Man entered a pet shop. Pug Man had a great wish, which was to go on holidays to Pugzarote.

There was a young lady in the pet shop and she was looking for a pet. 

She wanted a pug so she could go to Pugzarote too (you don’t need a ticket to go to Pugzarote, but you do need a pug).

The Bacon Adventure

“Yo yo yo Im DJ banana” “Pleased to meet you I’m Patrick the Pig. It’s a lovely day here on the farm. 

“Come on would that sun just go away” said Patrick the Pig who hates sunlight.

“I wish I was human so that I could put on Factor 50+ and a sun hat”.

Fifty-Five-Foot Duck

There was once a duck named Ducky. Ducky was a very small duck at first.

He wanted to be the biggest duck in the world.

Ducky grew up in a sugar cane field in Papua New Guinea with his best mate Phillipio the Banana Bird.

Two Lefts Don’t Make a Right

Once upon a time there was a Nike runner called Schue. Schue was having a horrible time. 

Every time his owner, Emma, went on a walk he was plunged into mud and poo and somehow his twin Sue always avoided it. 

Sue always teased Schue about his owner dropping him to the charity shop and keeping only Sue because Schue was too dirty to wear

Zack and the Pickle Invasion

Zack was having his breakfast with Finn the Ketchup Bottle. Finn decides to ask him his greatest wish.

“My greatest wish is to be a pink flying unicorn.” Then a talking pickle appears at the house. 

Zack points and says “that is my greatest fear”.

Boo’s Big Adventure

Once upon a cheese, there was a koala called Boo. He had penguin flippers and elf ears. 

Boo lived in a bungalow in a forest in Tibequador.

Boo loved to play video games. He lived with his grandmother but he was afraid of her. 

Makin’ Bacon

One day Humphrey was hungry.

Humphrey really liked stone bacon.

Then Gunther’s mother comes in and gets assassinated by the butcher.

DJ Sausage Roll’s Journey

St Killian’s National School, Mullagh, Co. Cavan, 5th Class, 15 May 2019

One day at the Centra in Mullagh, a sausage roll was being made. But this was no ordinary sausage roll.

The new deli worker, Barack Obama, was listening to his favourite DJ music by Drake. 

As he was making the sausage roll, his AirPods fell into the mix.

Bob and the Scary Dog

Once upon a time there lived a Cat called Bob who had Magical powers.

He was able to talk human and disappear at anytime.

One day he was asleep up an oak tree in Africa. His friend, Billy the Snakey Mouse was visiting him because it was Saturday.
