Pink the Flamingo was at the river drinking water. While he was drinking the water, he was dreaming about socks. His feet were really cold. 

He was too busy drinking water and dreaming about socks that he didn’t see the crocodile coming. This was where he got his fear of crocodiles.

Before the crocodile could eat Pink, his best friend, Blue the Bird, came to save him.

Angelica the Shape-Shifter lived in a forest. She spent her days looking for symbols that could get her powers back. Julia Mama the Evil Chef was jealous of Angelica’s power. 

One day, she poisoned one of her dishes and gave it to Angelica. Angelica met her best friend Fillupa Flop in a desert while she was searching for symbols.

Bongo and Andrew’s Adventures

Bongo the Second and Andrew the Pug were in the back garden. They were staring at the sun when Bongo suddenly said, “Wait! We might explode!”

Instead of looking at the sun, they started playing with the super bouncy ball that they got in Smooths. Andrew kept saying, “Can you throw it and I’ll run after it?”

Bongo replied, “No, you throw it. I’ll run after it.”

That was why he was afraid of Mr. MacLiam’s class and where he got his nickname, Egghead.

Da baby invented the Coronavirus to wipe them out. He cried to his friend, M and M off-brand the rapper.

Mr. Monkey didn’t like being happy, so he went to the shop to buy some cranky soap. When he got home, Mr. Monkey spread the soap all over his face and he felt crankier.

A long time ago there was a scientist called Billy. He always had a wish to time travel so one day he did.

He had had a dream about time travel and then he started trying to build a time machine but his dad said, “If it breaks, you can’t come back so I don’t want you to build a time travel machine.”

He started building the time machine anyway. He was done a week later.

It was just a normal day and he was doing his renegade, a type of TikTok dance. He tried to get followers but his follower count was only at twelve.

Then, the tuna bellies came and started making TikTok dances with him.

Barriasaurus vs the government

Once upon a time there was a dinosaur/human named Barriasaurus Rex.

One Monday, Barriasaurus Rex went to Aldi and found hand sanitizer that kills 100% of germs. 

Seeing this, made him afraid of the government because he knew that they wanted to find the sanitizer first.

The Great Chicken Escape

It was the dead of night as Patritcia the Chicken escaped from the farm. Joe the Shy Donkey was trailing behind her.

Patritcia was looking around for ants to eat when she saw a jetpack beside the ants hill. 

She put the jetpack on and started flying up to the sky, clucking all the way with Joe wondering what had happened to her.

There was a pink caterpillar named Joe who lived in a forest. One day, he was sleeping on a bush when he heard a big BANG!

Joe crawled off the bush to see what the bang was - it was a big bird landing. Joe was terrified! He was so scared that ran really fast to get away from the bird and got lost.

Joe saw another bush that he thought was safe.

Explosion

This story all started when Jeff and Humpty Dumpty were walking to work. Jeff saw a stop sign and fainted because it was red.

A huge explosion happened and out popped a tiny teeny ant. The ant got friends and carried Jeff to their hideout.

Their base was in a volcano. Humpty Dumpty continued to walk to the ballet place because that's where they worked.

Lia’s Adventure

Once upon a time there was a horse named Sophie. Her body was black and her eyes were bright blue. She had a short, blue tail with sparkles. 

Her greatest fear was to talk to other horses. Her best friend, a white horse named Lia, got robbed and Sophie had to save her. 

While she was trotting around looking for the robber, she thought of her greatest wish which was to fly.

The Tale of Gruff and Pebble

There was this dogo called Gruff and he was digging in a pile of leaves in the early 1950s when he found a hedgehog.

The hedgehog spiked his nose and he yelped in pain. 

Gruff brought him inside and the owner gave him a cage and some food.

 Mary couldn’t believe what she was hearing; her beloved Uncle John was gone. It was going to be a long voyage. Mary hugged her doll tightly.

Her doll, Eliza, had extremely soft, black hair that almost seemed real, and although her frock had once been lovely and new it was now old.

Aither Astroid was a white fox with blue horns and black wings that lived in a painting in the Crawford Art Gallery. He sneaks out at night sometimes to get food.

Every day when the children come they touch and stroke the painting and he doesn’t like it! 

Every time they touch the painting he disappears into another picture.

The Attack of the Bananas

In the dangers of the jungle lived the orang-utan named Darwin and his trusty side-kick Turner the Turtle. 

Turner the Turtle was not slow he was super fast. Every year the banana wrangler Peely, came into the jungle to hunt all the animals. 

But of all the times he had come, he had only managed to hunt five animals. This year he is coming, but he won’t get anyone because a new superhero has arrived in the jungle.

The Great Manchesco Divelo

The Buttery Toast Invasion

One beautiful summer morning, out of nowhere huge buttery monsters attacked Farmer Jim Bob Joe's house.

When the clock struck twelve, his best friend Squishy Watermelon Max got captured by the buttery toast. 

The buttery toast locked him up in a cell. Then Farmer Jim Bob Joe found a flying donkey and tried to capture it.

Nigel's Nonsense

Nigel is a 70-year-old man and he has been in hospital after he got knocked out in a boxing match by his 'friend' Isaac.

Nigel woke up to his cow, Bessie, licking his face. He gets a fright because Bessie is there and he's afraid of cows now.

When he got up, he found a load of cows in his kitchen rooting through his cupboards and they ate all the food so he had to go to the shop, but the shop closed down while he was in a coma. 

The War of the Water-balloons

Tiffany Thomas is a window cleaner and she's been working for two years and by her side are her two friends the Warthog called Roy and the Patricia the Parrot. 

She hated her job and wanted to help endangered penguins.

A chicken slides into view and in a gangster voice says, "Hey it's JBM, also known as Jimmy Buctas McNulty." 

A flying squirrel slides into view and says, "Ni!' There were a load of cows and pigs around so it was hard to slide into view without crashing into one. 

Jimmy says, "That's my secretary/best friend, Donna Buctas McNulty, who is also my cousin, my sista from another mista!" 

Lulu and Ugly

Once upon a time there was an evil girl called Lulu and she hated unicorns.

Jack The Ninja Warrior

One day Jack's Mom came into his room and found pictures of Chloe under his bed. When Jack came home he was grounded. 

Jack cried and he had to eat warm ice-cream with live worms inside the ice-cream.

While Jack was eating the ice-cream, his Mom ripped up the pictures and worse it was in front of him.

 

Nathan's Negative Nightmare: the beginning of a new evolution

One stormy night. Cold was the night.  In a small little village, in a small little street in a small little orphanage, in a small little kid there was a big imagination and a big dream.

Suddenly there was a big earthquake.  He was having a dream.  The earthquake was happening outside of his body and it sent him into his nightmare.

The first thing that came to his sight was a cat.  A talking cat.  An evil cat.

Jim and the Magic Pen

This story is set in Canada. A pen was being shipped from India to Canada. 

Jim Boston went to a library in Canada and finds a book that tells him what the magic pen can do. 

Then he turned to the next page and found a pen. He also finds a map that helps him find the magic pen.

Jimmy's Adventure in Search of the A+

Jimmy was on his way home from after-school study with Freddie, when he was ambushed by bullies. 

His best friend Freddie fell, so he had to run back to get a plaster for him, but it wouldn't really stick, because he couldn't find a solid part of his body – he had no bones. 

Jimmy started talking to Freddie and the bullies were wondering who he was talking to.

Small Dog, Big Dreams

The Legend of Jim the Cheetah

Jim the cheetah was born in 1902. When he was 5 years old he was bullied in school and he met Daly the lion. 

At the school made of bamboo they learned how to be faster than other animals, they learned how to survive in the wild and they learned how to hunt. 

Jim wasn't very good at those things, so everyday Daly helped him get better.

In 1666, there was a boy called Felix and he hated school and all the homework they gave. But most of all he hated his parents! 

More than ever he really wanted a friend. So he decided to make a plan to break out of boarding school.

So he said to himself maybe he'll walk around to calm himself down so that after he had calmed down he would be able to think of a plan.

Charles the dog and Tom made a great scheme together. They were planning to get Mary fired.

One day, a farmer grew potatoes. He grew some carrots as well. And on that day, Peter the Potato was born! But, not long after, Kevin the Carrot was born. 

From day one, their friendship was unbreakable.

Unfortunately, Peter found a wife called Patricia the Sweet Potato and wouldn’t hang out with the homies anymore.

Gasper the Fearless Lion

Once upon a time, there was an albino lion called Gasper. He was the odd one out because he had red splotches on his fur. 

On his first day of school, everyone made fun of him, but his greatest wish was that he wanted a new friend.

The Naughty Leprechaun

Early on Easter Sunday morning, the Easter Bunny left Easter eggs all the way up Croagh Patrick in Co. Mayo.

The Easter Bunny drew a map of where all the Easter eggs were hidden. 

The Easter Bunny dropped a copy of the map and a leprechaun found it.

Facing Your Fears

One day Lisa and Daisy were at the beach chilling out. Lisa was Daisy’s best friend. Lisa was super sporty - she had come first in every race on Sports Day, she was captain of the school football team and was always chosen first for everything…but her favourite sport was swimming.

Daisy was Lisa’s best friend. She had a passion for art – especially drawing and designing clothes.

Simon The Cyborg

Simon was a little boy aged twelve. He absolutely loved space. When he was in bed, Simon would dream of going to space in an enormous rocket. His favourite movie was any type of sci-fi movie, he had Space Invaders birthdays, space-related Christmas presents. In short, everything had a bit of space-related things in it.

Our story begins when Simon got a scholarship to be the first ever kid in space. Simon was over the moon, the day he said his goodbyes to his family and friends and set out on his journey to NASA.

Lost In War

One day there was a nine year old boy called Phil who lived in a small cottage on St. Catherine’s Road. World War Three was going to happen that day.

Phil was going to town with his mother. When they got there, it was very busy - everyone was getting their last bits and bobs. A few minutes later, a loud deafening noise was heard from all around town. Everyone rushed to their houses.

Phil was all alone!  His mother had left with everyone else. No one could be heard or seen.

The Easter Egg Hunt

I was hunting for Easter Eggs when suddenly I stumbled across the most amazing, gleaming, magical eggs. 

They were spotty and stripy, they were lying in the long green grass, and I looked around to make sure no one was looking then I quickly grabbed the two eggs and ran to look for some more, I found two more.

At the end, me and my two friends Lily and Molly sat down on the concrete and showed each other what was in them.

April Fool's Disaster

Ava was a little girl who loved science. She was inspired by her dad (Mr. Smith), who was a mad scientist.

Mr. Smith would do all sorts of tricks, such as make her pet rabbit a human being, make himself invincible and make their house the size of a pea.

Tom had to bring her to the fast food shop as well because she was too young to stay at home on her own. Every time they went, she would get chips. It was always the same. This time it was different.

The house was known to be cursed and inside was a ghost named Creepy. He used to be a boy, but he went into the house one night, even though he was told not to.

He didn't listen. He did not leave before sunrise, so he got turned into a ghost.

She looked and there was no one there. She was on the news because she was lost and her parents were worried.

She was scared, then Olivia was more scared. “Why do you ask?” because there was a……bear.

Once there was a dog. His name was Ruff. He wanted to travel the WORLD but he had an owner so he couldn't. That made him sad.

Ruff kept on running and running. Eventually, the ball stopped and Ruff looked around. He was in a town but he wasn't in his own town - it was different.

A few days ago I was speaking to my Aunty Irma over the telephone. We were chatting about Olivia and when she was due. That's when it all began. I arrived at Irwa's, a cottage in the countryside, it was so familiar for me. I loved to help out, I was fascinated about the visit. "I couldn't be more happier that a pig in mud", I kept saying. 

I was talking about Olivia. During the night there was some strange noises coming from the pigsty enclosure outside.

Angelina’s Task

Charlie lay motionless at her feet. She had done it. A million thoughts raced through Angelina’s mind but she had one question, “Where to hide the body?”

A pang of guilt hung over her, but there was no time to be emotional. Though he was three years older than her, Angelina managed to heave her brother into a bush and started to make her way home. The knife still bloody in her pocket. The others would collect him tomorrow and she would get her payment.

Devil and Stretch Man

The news presenter said "a fairy came over to the garda station and is giving nightmares to children". Oh,no cried Emma H." That's the nightmare fairy who's saying the nighttime fairy is having nightmares to children" cried Niamh.

 

Braydon’s Search For His Parents

Braydon Bear woke up early and looked around the forest. The sun shone through the leaves, the air was damp. He yawned and looked for his mum and dad, Billy and Becky, but couldn’t see them. He checked behind some other trees but no luck. He went to the lake and washed himself and decided to go in search of them. Braydon’s best friend Jennifer Giraffe was preening nearby.

“Jennifer, can you help me search for mum and dad? They’re nowhere to be found.”

It’s Amazing What Happens When You Go Over A Rainbow

There was an elephant called Aiden.  His greatest wish was to go to the moon.  His greatest fear was sharks and mice.  His best friend was a unicorn called Hudson.

Aiden and Hudson were the best of friends.  This friendship started the day the zookeeper left the gate open for the elephant enclosure.  So all of the elephants were able to run free!  Every elephant went a different way.  Some went south, some north, some east and even west! But Aiden ran up the rainbow!

The Worst Day Ever

Ok, you noticed I am angry, but this time am so angry. I'll tell you the story. On my way to ballet I tripped. I thought my knee was broken but it was not. When I got to ballet my tights were tight and itchy. My ballet teacher said that I was disturbing her class so I got kicked out of class. When shopping with mum, I remember it was turn to pick the cereal. So I picked Rainbow Pops but mam said I have porridge and that it was a waste buying them.

The One Eyed Boy

Once upon a time there was a boy called Fergus. Now Fergus was not a normal boy. 

Fergus had one eye. He was born that way and everyone thought he was very weird looking with only one eye, but he was used to that.

When he reached the age of 10 he only started school because he was home schooled, "could you imaging that", he hardly made any friends.

Grace and The Trouble With Kittens

Once upon a time there was a girl called grace. Grace loooooooved kittens. She even made a poem called: Kittens. Ok lets move on from her poem.

She love kittens so much she had kittens on every thing, clothes, pillows, curtains, and even wallpaper. But the trouble was that she had no kittens and what was the fun in that?

Everyone except her had at least one cute pet. Everyday after school she would go to the pet shop and see if they were selling any kittens.

The Boy Who Dreamed

This is the story of a boy called Aaron, who dreamed every night when he was in bed with his thick duvet over him and his cuddly toy Ted. 

Aaron dreamed of dragons and amazing things to see, like rainbow rivers and talking trees. 

In one of Aaron’s dreams, Ted learned how to talk. Ted could sing and dance and even go for a walk. 

Revenge on Cara

Dan trudged around his room in a temper. He was bored.

Dan’s dog Frank had chewed up his comics, his friend Mason was at his grandad’s house learning how to be a spy, his rugby ball was punctured, his brother had hogged the TV and his sister had hogged the computer. She wouldn’t even let him have one go on Snake Master’s Revenge 2, his favourite game ever!!

Cara always hogged the computer, she said it was for her homework but really she used it to watch videos on YouTube.

Face Your Fears

Once upon a time there live a dragon called Jack and jack wants to break a world record of making 100 peanut butter sandwiches in 1 hour. 

But Jack is afraid of peanut butter. And he doesn't know why. Jack's best friend is a handbag called Arianna. 

Arianna tried every thing to help jack over hs fear of peanut butter but nothing worked.

The Cruelsomes were moving to their new house.

“Do we have to move to a new house, Mummy?” asked Maddy.

“Darling we have to, it’s closer to your father’s new job,” said Maddy`s mother.

Peter and Plexus' Coffee Shop

Sean, age 6 (almost 7), County Wicklow

Once upon a time in a land far, far away there lived a crew of salty scary pirates on their ship, The Black Donkey.

Peter and Plexus were the top bananas. They’d met in Pirate School. Peter had a very little brother called Nugget. Boon was very booney, booting people off the ship when he felt like it. Furry had a hairy chest with a gold jewelled necklace. Claw had sharp fingernails. Double Duck Quack Quack was half duck.  He said “Quack quack” after every sentence.  Chef Dusty was the head chef. If he was angry, Chef Dusty would bang his meat cleaver - especially if anyone asked for seconds.

A Dog’s Way Home

Once there was a dog called Louise and the owner was called James.  James was a happy boy.

One day, James and Louise were playing catch with a ball. James threw the ball very very far into the forest.  

Louise went into the forest to get the ball.

Violet the Ladybird with 700 Spots and Her Best Friend Zack the Caterpillar with 100 Zigzags

Violet the ladybird with 700 spots was on a lilypad in a pond, looking at clouds. She was looking at the shapes of all the clouds.

Then she got out of the pond to look for Zack her best friend - a caterpillar with 100 zigzags, to have a party. 

But he was not at his house!  She walked one hundred metres and then met Zack.
