The Adventures of Sprinkles and Unitato

Sprinkles the unicorn was a unicorn. A long time ago in a faraway land, by the crystal clear waters, where Sprinkles lived, she woke up with a random desire to sneeze rainbows. 

She knew she had to find somebody to help her. Her best friend was the Unitato, who was half unicorn, half potato. She decided to go and ask him for help. 

Sprinkles went to the Cloudy City to find Unitato. She found him in the mall, drinking a Starducks. 

The Sad, Sad Unicorn

Johnny the unicorn was on a dating website. He kept on clicking the reload button, and it kept saying ‘No Matches.’

“Why is this happening to me?” Johnny wondered. He was so angry he stabbed the laptop with his horn. 

The Zoo

Hello, my name is George. I live in the wild. Today, while I was out eating leaves, I saw hunters try to take my mother. 

My brothers, sisters and I were worried.

We tried to help. We saved our mother and we ran away.

Once upon a time in Cornville there was a girl named Elizabeth. She lived in the woods just outside Cornville.

She was talking to her imaginary friend, Carrot.

The Pokémon Dream

Solomon lived on a farm in Scotland a long, long time ago. He didn’t like living on the farm as there were no people around and no PokeStops either. 

Because there were no people around to keep him company, he played Pokemon GO on his phone every day. 

His best friend was Cuckoo, a talking orange.

Clowning Ambitions

“Booooo,” shouted the crowd, after another bad performance. 

The audience left and went to the No-Nose Clown Circus next door. 

Mr. Squeeze-Nose the Clown sadly walked behind the curtain where his boss began shouting at him again.

The Two Griffins

City Spectacular, Sunday, 10 July 2016 Session 2

One day a griffin named Darkness was in the woods flying. Darkness was in the woods looking for a friend because he was lonely.

Above him in a tree was a smaller, cuter griffin!

“Hi!” said Darkness.

“Do you know anyone who could be my friend?” asked the smaller griffin.

Sky’s Great Adventure

City Spectacular, Sunday, 10 July 2016, Session 1

Sky the Blue Tiger lived in her cloud castle in the sky. She felt lonely because no one else lived around her. 

From her cloud castle, she had a view of the whole kingdom, including the Apple Castle.

One day, Sky looked down at her leg and sighed, because it had clouds instead of stripes. 

Dude’s Big Mistake

Once upon a time, there was an evil unicorn named Dude. He wanted to rule the world! He lived in a dark and dingy house. 

He was afraid of superhero zombies because they were so gross. His best friend was a puppet master!

One day, he had an idea to rule the galaxy and the world.

The Adventures of Norbert and Rainbow

City Spectacular, Friday, 8 July 2016, Session 2

Norbert the pig lived on a farm. He had a best friend called Rainbow the multi-coloured phoenix. 

Now this was no ordinary farm. It was called the Jam Farm because a very large jar of jam was found after the farmer passed away. 

One day, Norbert and Rainbow decided that they wanted to go to a deserted island. 

The Advenutres of Snortly the Pig & Speed the Snail

City Spectacular, Friday, 8 July 2016, Session 1

Snortly the pig was in his pigpen. He was talking to his best friend, Speed the snail, on his phone.

Snortly was very confused talking to Speed because Speed spoke so slowly. One word after another came out of Speed’s mouth. They were trying to talk about Snortly’s plan to rule the world. 

“So my plan is that the American president never touches the rest of the world,” said Snortly. 

The Noodle Bike Adventure

Once upon a time, there was a rusty little motorbike the size of a Shetland Pony that lived in a shed. 

He grew up to become a big red CRF-450F motorbike. 

One day, he went to Tesco and he saw a tiny potion called “Noodle-Man” for sale. 

Electro-lava vs. Reckpack Spirit

Once upon a time there was a robot called Reckpack. He lived in a volcano. 

One day, he decided to go to a Chinese shop to get a fortune cookie. His fortune cookie said that he would be rich in the future.

“I need to go to the future!” said Reckpack.

Timmy - The Hero of Cheeseland

Once upon a time, there was Timmy the Cheese. He lived in the cheese drawer in a refrigerator, but at night everyone in Cheeseland would escape and run around the house. 

One night, the Cheese Grater captured all of the cheese in the drawer apart from Timmy. He was still in the refrigerator, trying to catch up from some sleep from a party the night before. 

At 12pm, he heard the ice cream fall and he woke up with a start. Timmy yawned and went back to bed, but noticed it was very quiet. 

Captain Harry’s Friends

Captain Harry, the blue human, lived in London, England with his three aunties - Georgina, CJ, and Caroline. 

Captain Harry lived in a giant red house with his friends Paddington Bear and Pickins the Rabbit. 

“Mmmmm mashed potatoes!” said Paddington. 

Matthew Loses His Dad

Long ago, in a city in England, lived different kinds of people. One of those people was a Superkid called Matthew. 

One night, Matthew had a nightmare that his dad was lost and when he woke up he discovered it was true. 

Matthew called his best friend, Robin the talking bird, and asked him, “Can you help me find my dad?” 

One Goat One Chicken and One Extra Large Bucket

Snoop Frog the goat lived in a rabbit burrow. One morning, he vomited into his cornflakes. This was not unusual - he did this every morning to make them taste better. 

Snoop Frog then switched on his flatscreen TV to watch SpongeRob. 

Meanwhile, Crispy, the rather large and round chicken, rolled into the burrow.

Chocolate Bar's Big Adventure

Chocolate Bar the Cat walked to the park with her owner. She met her best friend, Poppy the Dog. 

They were playing chasing when they saw a shiny black shoe. 

Chocolate Bar got a fright and screamed. She ran away from her owner and got lost. 

The White Lady

St Eithne’s Girls National School, Edenmore, 5th Class, 20 June 2016

Not long ago, there was a really sly snake called Sally who wanted to lose her snakeness. 

Sally lived in the woods with her owner, Sam the lumberjack. She wanted to become a human. 

One day, while slithering around the woods, Sally came across The White Lady. The White Lady had her hair hanging in front of her face. 

The Great Potato Adventure

Once there was a potato named Paul who lived on a farm with his potato family. 

One morning, Paul woke up in his sardine can that all the potatoes slept in, got out of his sardine can, and went to look for some butter for his breakfast. 

While Paul was looking for his butter breakfast, he heard a loud THUMP.

The Jungle House

Once there was a crazy nanny called Samantha. One day, she was at the kitchen sink, dyeing her hair rainbow coloured. 

Some of the dye splashed on to her white dog.

The dog started barking at her. “We’re twins now!” she said.

Sparkles’ Adventures

Sparkles the unicorn woke up in her marshmallow house on a dark and cloudy morning.  

She ate her usual breakfast of rainbow drops and saw that it was raining bubbles outside.  

Sparkles felt frightened because she was very afraid of bubbles.

What Granny Did

Trinity National School, Westport ,5th and 6th Class, 14th June 2016 

Lucas the genius woke up early in his granny’s house.  He looked at a picture of his parents beside his bed. 

Both his parents had been killed three years previously, testing out their new prototype of their time machine.  

The newspaper headlines had said, Two People Killed In A Bizarre Car Crash On A Quiet Country Road.

Funky Smart Alien

Smart the Alien was visiting Mars. She was exploring the planet to look for her friend, Bobby the German pointer. 

After she found Bobby, Smart planned to take over the universe, and she needed his help. 

Smart hadn’t seen Bobby in five years. She had looked all over the universe to find him, but he was still lost.

Catman and Catgirl

Once upon a time, there lived a man named Catman and his little sister, Catgirl. 

One day, they went to a funfair. At the funfair, Catman found lots of friends. 

They all bought lots of candy. When they had finished all the candy, his friends saw a volcano.

Dude, Where’s My Leaf?

Billy Bob Joe III’s Decision

Once upon a time, there was a potato named Billy Bob Joe III, or BBJ3 for short.

He lived in a village with a lot of food neighbours. The village was beside a huge city called Foodtopia. BBJ3’s best friend was Sam the quarter pound cheeseburger.

There was a large famine in Foodtopia, so all of the foods in the village had to search for crumbs to eat. 

The Quest To See Who’s Best

Once upon a time on a cold, windy Christmas Eve, a  cheetah named Tom escaped from his home. 

Tom did not want to get any Christmas presents  - that was his biggest fear! 

The only Christmas present he wanted was to get married.

Zookers FC

Once there was a panda called Bob. He lived in a bamboo forest. Every day Bob played football with his best friend, Nicky Noo the donkey. Bob loved to play, but he wasn’t very good.

One day, Bob kicked the ball into a bush, and he saw a poster on a lamp post.

Chicken Man and Wally on the Run

Many years ago, in a land far far away a chicken’s arm fell off and Chicken Man the chicken wing came to life. 

Six million years later, a house got knocked down and all the bricks joined together to form Wally the Wall. 

Wally the Wall saved Chicken Man from being eaten, and then from then on they became friends. 

DudeManGuy’s Adventure

Hi, my name is DudeManGuy and I’m a superhero. My best friend is Henry, the giant walking and talking pencil.

One day, my pet llama-marshmallow-unicorn was missing. I suspected that my enemy, Sock Alien Guy, had stolen my pet from my smelly bedroom.

My bedroom is really smelly because of my socks.

Attack of the Monkeys

Once upon a time there was a boy called Jackson. He was hanging out at home watching telly when suddenly a bunch of evil monkeys attacked. 

The evil monkeys were after Jackson’s store of bananas. Jackson had loads of bananas because they were his favourite fruit. 

On the sitting room table there was a speed potion that Jackson was looking after for his dad. 

The Rock Star Adventure

His name was Mark and his dream was to own the world.

Flushy the Toilet’s Adventure

Flushy the Toilet was getting ready to compete in the Bathroom Olympics at the Bathroom Arena. 

He was lifting his lid back and forth. His best friend, Slippy the Soap, was cleaning him.

“I can’t wait for you to compete,” said Slippy.

Bob’s Dream

Once there was a boy called Bob. His best friend was a unicorn called Sparky. 

He began his career wanting to create a shampoo product but it was was bad that when he tried it, his hair turned blue.

So Bob started playing soccer in his back garden with Sparky.

Once upon a time there lived a girl named Sophie. Nobody knew she had superpowers. 

She lived in modern times in an penthouse apartment with her pet Super Pug in New York.
