Ricky and Timmy are Race Cars

Ricky was in Wal-Mart. He was feeling very cranky because he couldn’t find his best friend, Timmy the Scooter.

Timmy said “Excuse me,” and Ricky saw that he was actually riding Timmy.

“Get me over to the Reese’s Pieces!” Ricky shouted.

The Magic Bread

One day Donko the Duck woke up from a lovely dream about lovely delicious Brodon’s fresh bread. 

All the other ducks in the pond teased him. His best friend, Random Raccoon, would randomly jump on people and on ducks. 

This embarrassed Donko. Random Raccoon had a disease which he kept secret.

Bob’s Weird Life Story

Bob the rock was sleeping in some dirt. It was raining. He woke up and turned on the television.

He watched Ireland’s Got Talent and then Father Ted.

When Father Ted was finished, The Rock Pot was on. The Rock Pot was a game show for rocks. 

Uncle Eliza

 Mary couldn’t believe what she was hearing; her beloved Uncle John was gone. It was going to be a long voyage. Mary hugged her doll tightly.

‘Oh why is life so hard!’ said Mary thinking about her Uncle.

Her doll, Eliza, had extremely soft, black hair that almost seemed real, and although her frock had once been lovely and new it was now old. 

Aither’s Adventure

Aither Astroid was a white fox with blue horns and black wings that lived in a painting in the Crawford Art Gallery. He sneaks out at night sometimes to get food.

Every day when the children come they touch and stroke the painting and he doesn’t like it! 

Every time they touch the painting he disappears into another picture.

The Attack of the Bananas

In the dangers of the jungle lived the orang-utan named Darwin and his trusty side-kick Turner the Turtle. 

Turner the Turtle was not slow he was super fast. Every year the banana wrangler Peely, came into the jungle to hunt all the animals. 

But of all the times he had come, he had only managed to hunt five animals. This year he is coming, but he won’t get anyone because a new superhero has arrived in the jungle.

Rebecca’s birthday

It was Rebecca’s 11th birthday. Her party was at her Granny’s house.

Rebecca’s mum had made the chocolate cake, which was Rebecca’s favourite.

Rebecca’s Granny gave her a present. The present was in a small colourful box.

The Good, The Squishy and The Ugly

One day, Baguette Boi and his best friend Spread, the Lump of Butter, were at a cafe. 

Spread had to be careful about heat, so they were sitting outside. 

This was the fanciest cafe in town. There was a TV in the cafe and on the TV, the news reporter was talking  about sightings of Blippys in the city.

Cookie Gang

Galway Educate Together National School, Newcastle Road, Galway City, 5th Class

Oscar the Oreo lives in the “Reduced To Clear” section in Pesco. His friend Patricia the Pie lives on the shelf opposite him. 

They meet up in a bar underneath the shelves. Obese Owen lives underneath the Oreo shelf.

Patricia and Oscar argue about who tastes better. Oskar says, “I’m nicer because I’m a cookie.”

The Mysterious Soup

Once there was a man called Bob the soup maker and his greatest wish was to become the Manager of a famous restaurant.  

But the owner of the restaurant, the Chicken Wing Monster, wouldn’t let him.  

Bob would not stand up to him because of his evil side kick, Bouncing Betty, the clown.

Bozo the Horse

In the world of myths and legends lived Bozo the horse.

It was a calm, warm day when Bozo went to see his friend Turkey the pony.

“Don’t say I’m small, I’m tall!” said Turkey frustratedly.

Defender of the Forest

Once upon a time a forest girl went on an adventure in a new part of the forest.

There was a poacher who went out into the forest on the same day. 

Forest girl fell out of a tree onto the poacher’s back.

The Evil Elf who tried to be happy

Once upon a time in an evil kingdom, called Evil Land, lived Clauser the Evil Elf on the Shelf. 

He always dreamed of taking another elf’s happiness so he could be happy himself.

Seven years ago when he was being made, Santa made a mistake that made him evil and unhappy. 

Diary of a Rubber Hose

Once upon a time there was a rubber hose called Borris Ink…

On 4th July, 1984 I was being used to hose down a bonfire. I was bored and lonely.  Suddenly I caught fire... , oh the irony!!  

I was burnt and alone until I met Drippy, the watering can and she put me out.

A Christmas Sausage
