Pablo’s Quest

St Fiachra’s Senior National School, Beaumont, Dublin 9, 6th Class, 2 December 2021

Even though he was at home, Pablo Jones felt lost at sea. Pablo was a Koi Fish and his orange scales were luminated under the sea. He lived near Hong Kong.

Pablo lifted up the rock in the sea bed from where he lived and looked on to the coral reef. He saw pink and green coral.

He also saw his best friend, Pedro the Salmon, swimming around. He was exercising.

The Mystery of the Lost Potatoes

Mr. Potato was a squircle-shaped potato. He was born in a pot. Little did he know, before he could meet his siblings, they were eaten!

When he was seven years old, he went on a journey to search for his parents and siblings.

“I need to find my family, will you please me?” said Mr. Potato.

Once upon a time there was a detective that wished to find the stolen crown jewels, and he had a sidekick that was scared of everything. His name is Terry Johnson.

Tony wished that one day he would find out who stole the crown jewels, but he was afraid that someone else would find out first.

He was also scared that if another person found them he wouldn’t have succeeded in his career.

Peboi and the Magic Tomato Mission

Peboi’s on the top of Mt. Ketchup about to start his tomato mission. He finds a bear cave, and the bear inside is eating a juicy tomato.

Peboi flew out of the cave and saved the tomato by hugging the bear.

Santa’s Journey

It was two days before Christmas. Santa was cleaning his sleigh. He belly-flopped into the sleigh. He looked to the side and saw this teddy bear.

“Oh!” said Santa. “It’s the teddy bear from my childhood!” Santa noticed a note pinned to the teddy. Santa read the note.

To whoever finds this note, I will cuddle you! Only if you come to Hawaii, will it happen.

Kimmy and the Yellow Dragon

Once upon a time, there was a koala called Kimmy who could give people happiness.

When she walked into the cave, scared and curious, she saw a yellow dragon.

The Age of the Avocados

Daisy was being chased by the police, locket in hand. She was running because she stole bread from a bakery.

She was very, very hungry. Her stomach was rumbling so loudly it sounded like an earthquake. 

She was running on the Ha’Penny Bridge. Her body shivered with the cold as the rain battered her face.

Jason’s Dream

Once there was a monkey in a tree. He fell out of the tree into a banana pile and ate loads and loads of bananas.

A wizard monkey came over and said “Hello”. Her name was Mikayla. The monkey asked for more bananas and the wizard monkey gave him them, he felt better.

He didn’t get his coffee this morning so he’s extra cranky because Goofy Grape didn’t give him his coffee.

Pebbles and the Enchantress of Doom

Suddenly, the Vegetable Gang jumped out and took all of Freddie’s money. Freddie saw that the Vegetable Gang had all of the chocolate.

Mícheal’s Fidos

“I don’t want to get a regular bike!” Mícheal screeched at his mam, when they were in the bike shop.

“You’ll have to wait until Christmas!” she screamed back, pointing at him.

For the next three weeks, Mícheal’s reports were good. One rainy morning, Mícheal woke up to a Fido in his king sized bed.

Winter’s Blizzard

Winter the husky was born in the snowy tundra in the Arctic. After two moons, Winter’s mother died in a fire.

Winter and his best friend, Kitusme the snow fox, went on a journey to find his father.

While they were searching, Winter and Kitsume found themselves on an iceberg that floated away from the tundra.

Snickers & Marshy’s Big Adventure

Snickers the Puppy was walking beside a really nice pond that was very glittery but she fell into a deep dark hole.

The hole led to a dog college and there were dogs studying and training on how to make marshmallows.

He rolled into the living room. They owned a toy lamborghini which was in the living room. He jumps into it and rides around.

Treeman’s Forgotten Links

In the Amazon forest, Treeman was making fences.  Suddenly, it started to lash rain and it started to get very windy.

Treeman’s home was blown away by the wind and he fell off his tree, landed on his head and was knocked out.

 It was a warm summer day. A boy was walking down a dark alleyway when he came across metal parts.

He first made a leg, then another leg and then he made his arms. He built a robot and made him really strong. He put wings on his arms so that he could fly.

Then he found a cape and made him a superhero. He names the robot Roboy. 

Floofy the Posh Cat

Floofy is a cat model that dreams of having a Tesla. Then she meets Jeff the dog.

Jeff the dog introduced Floofy to Chickety. After a while they became best friends. Floofy and Jeff the robot dog are going to the Sahara desert.

Floofy wanted to model with the lions. Rex the robot dinosaur threatens to eat them if they don’t leave the Sahara.

One late evening, there was a big crash outside of the house. Kelly ran outside and saw that her parents were covered in blood.

Dead. She dropped to her knees in tears and pulled her phone out of her pocket and rang the ambulance. Just then her dog Bonny came running out and licked her face.

She obviously didn’t know what was going on.  A woman with a sweet voice answered and Kelly had nothing to say .

He was also scared that if another person found them he wouldn’t have succeeded in his career.

Peboi and the Magic Tomato Mission

Peboi’s on the top of Mt. Ketchup about to start his tomato mission. He finds a bear cave, and the bear inside is eating a juicy tomato.

Peboi flew out of the cave and saved the tomato by hugging the bear.

This story all started when Jeff and Humpty Dumpty were walking to work. Jeff saw a stop sign and fainted because it was red.

A huge explosion happened and out popped a tiny teeny ant. The ant got friends and carried Jeff to their hideout.

Their base was in a volcano. Humpty Dumpty continued to walk to the ballet place because that's where they worked.

In a boat, heading onto the beach, with all the other soldiers, was Bob and Marcus and Private Johnny.

On the beach they saw a cow named Milk. They went into the forest on the beach and they saw loads of people setting up camp and the people started firing at them.

They hid behind a huge rock, but Bob couldn’t make it and he got badly injured, so Marcus pulled him back to the boat.

One day Nutty the Chestnut fell down from the Chestnut Tree. He fell into Mr Burton’s bag and was taken back to his house.

There he met Almond the Milky Bar who was in a bowl. He unwrapped Almond and they became friends.

Next day they jumped into Mr Burton’s bag and went to work with him at the chocolate factory.

In an olive farm in France Oliver the Olive meets Gary the Grape. Ricardo the bodybuilder finds them in the kitchen and is about to eat them. 

Just as he’s about to pop them in his mouth Ricardo remembers he’s late for a flight to Galway. 

He drops Oliver the Olive and Gary the Grape and races off to catch his flight from France to Galway where he’s going to do some break-dancing.

Chicken Nugget has no arms, so he can’t pull up the chair. He tries to do it, but he falls to the ground. 

He rolls out the door, and keeps on rolling for a full half hour.

Bloopy and the Beast

Mercedes the Ford wakes up in the junk yard. There are  cars being crushed around Mercedes.

“Oh no! I'd better go because there are cars being crushed around me,” he cries.

But Mercedes discovers that he has no fuel in the tank. He looks up and sees a man walking around the junkyard.

Spread had to be careful about heat, so they were sitting outside. 

This was the fanciest cafe in town. There was a TV in the cafe and on the TV, the news reporter was talking  about sightings of Blippys in the city.

Oscar the Oreo lives in the “Reduced To Clear” section in Pesco. His friend Patricia the Pie lives on the shelf opposite him. 

They meet up in a bar underneath the shelves. Obese Owen lives underneath the Oreo shelf.

Patricia and Oscar argue about who tastes better. Oskar says, “I’m nicer because I’m a cookie.”

Toilet Trip

Oslo neighs at Fred. Oslo and Fred have a telepathic connection. They can talk to each other in their heads.

Luke had been bought at the Christmas market, where he had been parted from his brother Steve.

Amber the horse really didn’t like the farm that she was on at the moment. Her owners were thinking of selling her. She was sick of being worked and she needed a rest.

The owners were thinking of selling her best friend Oinker the pig as well.

Pink the Flamingo was at the river drinking water. While he was drinking the water, he was dreaming about socks. His feet were really cold. 

He was too busy drinking water and dreaming about socks that he didn’t see the crocodile coming. This was where he got his fear of crocodiles.

Before the crocodile could eat Pink, his best friend, Blue the Bird, came to save him.

Joe crawled off the bush to see what the bang was - it was a big bird landing. Joe was terrified! He was so scared that ran really fast to get away from the bird and got lost.

Joe saw another bush that he thought was safe.

Buddy the Policeman vs The Doughnut Monster Book 1

One day Buddy the Policeman visited a school to do a special experiment on four slices of pizza.

Buddy's manager at the police station told him that he needed to do this experiment in order to get the dog that he really wanted.

Cookie and Oreo: The Kidnappers

One summer evening in Cookieland, Oreo, the black and white dog, and Cookie, the golden brown dog, went to the Oreo shop. Oreo went over to the original Oreos and Cookie went to the golden Oreos.

After they got the Oreos they left the shop, only to see two people in a pound truck. Oreo and Cookie ran away but the people got out of the Pound truck and chased them.

Don’t Mess with Old People

Our story begins like any other day. I live a very ordinary life in America and never expected anything extra-ordinary to happen to me!

My name is Jade. I am 15 years old and I live in Los Angeles. I’m just an average girl that loves adventures and loves hanging out with my friends. I live quite close to my school so in the morning, I meet up with my friends and we walk to school together. My three best friends are Ali ,Kaylee and Hannah.

My Happiest Day

I was walking home from school on the 7th of May. I remember that day well. I will never forget it.

As soon as I opened the door, I could smell it. My favourite dinner was cooking - pasta with melted cheese and bacon. I could smell the bacon. It was pulling me inside, entrancing me. I dumped my bag inside the door, hung my coat off the stair banister. I ran straight through the hall to the kitchen and saw Mum and Dad both there. This was strange because whenever Dad was home early, Mum would go out. They looked happy for the first time in a long time.

The Girl Who Didn’t Like How She Lived

Once there was a girl called Anna. She lived in Nenagh. Her mom was German and her dad was French and her sister was very good at Irish so Ana couldn’t understand them. She didn’t like the way she lived.

So every day, Anna played in her room. That’s only what she did and it was very boring. She loved her family but not how they spoke. She did writing as well as playing with her dolls and she read too.

But one day, the door opened and her mom came in and began to speak.

The Flying Dog

Once upon a time there was a dog with a horn. He spread happiness, joy and peace. It was a golden dog. Everybody loved the dog. Well, the dog was only a myth to them. Only some people believed in him and the people who believed in him got to see him. However, their friends and family said it was just their imagination. Their friends and family didn’t know that the dog was true.

Oh, he was very true.

The Minotaur

The minotaur statue stood in a shed. Suddenly, it came to life. There had a been a leak in the shed roof and as the rain came in, the plaster, which had encased a real minotaur, washed off. He felt clueless and confused.

Chief and The Ostrich

once upon a time there was a dog called Chief. Chief was a lonely dog he had no friends. 

So one day he decided to go out on his scooter and find some dog friends.

Why We Should Stop Using Diesel Cars!

Hello, my name is Ryan and I think it is outrageous that diesel cars were ever made. They produce emissions, they use fossil fuels and they negatively affect the environment.

Firstly, diesel emissions contribute to the development of cancer, cardiovascular and respiratory health effects, the pollution of air, water and soil, reductions in visibility and global climate change. 

Kora’s Story

Sophia was picking flowers in a beautiful farm and singing to the animals on the farm. Her best friend was called Denny the sausage dog. She had a secret admirer who watched her from a distance as she sang to the animals. His name was Conor.

One day Conor was very brave and visited the farm to talk to the girl he had watched for so long. After a week or so of Conor visiting Sophia, they became very close. However, the evil Maritha was watching their love grow and became very jealous of the beautiful Sophia and her new friend.

Stan The Flying Man

One day Stan was driving and he found a bird on the road whose wings were not working so Stan brought it back to his house.

He used an old box to make a home for the injured bird and put some bread and water in it.

After a few days, the bird got better and could now fly. The bird flew onto Stan’s head and flew away.

Corona zombies

One day, Jason was sitting at his desk at school when the teacher made an announcement that would change his life.

“Class, I think you’ll want to hear this.” He was tuned in on the radio to a broadcast by Leo Varadkar.

“Today we will be shutting schools down for a period of time that could extend to beyond the school year due to Covid-19,” announced Leo, “We will advise people on staying at home and washing their hands frequently.”

My Two Worlds

A Quark called Jake

They were going on a trip to their favourite place in the whole world, the Large Hadron Collider. They were entering a competition to be smashed there. They were all so excited but,none more so than Jake. He was so excited that he could be famous just like his hero Stephen Quirking.

So, when they arrived, Jake, Jamie and Luke unpacked their stuff at the hotel and went off.

Homemade Teacher

For the past few days, no schoolwork has come through for my siblings. So my mum had this “genius” idea that I could actually “teach” my them.

At first I thought it was a good idea because I didn’t have anything better to do (except schoolwork) and my mum said she would pay me, so I was all set. But when it came to actually “teach” them, things turned out not the way I wanted it to.

Ingrid was in a posh bar called Diamonds. The bar was located in the Jewellery Quarter in Covent Garden, London. Ingrid was looking for her next mark. She became interested in a conversation she overheard about a diamond in a safe. She noticed that these businessmen were wealthy. One of them had a very expensive Rolex watch.

Ingrid went to a family member that she could always rely on. She wanted to ask for advice on how to open a Chubb safe.

 

Fighting Talk

Andrea and her brother, Luke, were meeting up at the Red Rose Café near Stephen’s Green in Dublin. They hadn’t spoken in a while. Andrea didn’t know that Luke had won a million euro in the Lotto.

Nobody knew.  Andrea was usually rude and disrespectful to Luke. Growing up, they didn’t get along. Now, Luke had something important to tell Andrea but he couldn’t get her attention, even a second for her to just listen to him.

Luke was trying to explain why he hadn’t spoken to Andrea in a while.

As she rushed in the rain, Patricia wanted to catch the last train home. When she got on to the DART, it was nearly empty which was unusual. It was usually full, especially on a Friday evening.

Patricia noticed that someone was sitting in her favourite spot and she always sat there. She was jealous of all the woman’s bags. She wanted to sit there to see if she could take something.

Patricia was a hard worker and worked all the hours that God sent her. She didn’t have time to go shopping so she took what she could get.
