The Adventures of the fat fly

Donard NS, 3rd class, County Wicklow 13th March 2019

Mr Tom, the fly, was driving his Lamborghini on the N81. Suddenly, it dawned on him that he wanted to become fat.

He looked around, and he saw that everyone around him was fat. He said “I don’t want to be skinny anymore.”

At first he went to McDonalds, and he ordered a Grand Big Mac and Big Mac Bacon.  

 

Puggo vs Jim

Once upon a time there was a pug called Puggo. He was a government minister in Puggoland.

Puggo knew a velociraptor named Barry. Barry used to be a millionaire after he won the Velociraptor Lotto, but he lost all the money because he had too many plastic surgeries.

Puggo’s wish was to be the President of Puggoland. A new pug named Jim had moved into Puggoland. 

The Tiger’s Nightmare

Once upon a time in the jungle there lived a tiger called Tasha.

Her owner was her friend Stephanie.

Someone was hiding and pushed Tasha into the river. She got scared and growled.

Molly Flies Away

Once upon a time, there was a bird called Molly. She had a best friend called Polly the parrot.

Every night, Molly dreamed about coffee and had nightmares about bananas. 

She also wanted another best friend who was a dragon.

It was a cold snowy night at the in work at the docks for Steve “No Shoes.”  

The water was icy. His toes were freezing. And there was an icicle stuck to the end of his nose.

Steve “No Shoes” went home after work. Before he went to bed, he wished to get a new pair of shoes.

Once upon a potato time there was a normal potato in a kitchen.  

He was on a plate about to be eaten when he fell off the plate and landed on the ground. 

Ronald McDonald who was the one who tried to eat him, shouted “Five Second Rule”, and bent down to pick him up.

The cranky old man

Once there was a cranky old man called Billy and whenever a football went into his garden he would pop it. He hated kids.

The kids threw rocks at his windows, pie at his face and nick-knocked his door and then ran away.

One day Billy was cooking his dinner: a piece of cheese was lying on the table and came alive. 

Chuck, Noah and the Black Plague

Chuck-the warrior, lives in a tent outside a castle.  His greatest wish is love, freedom and peace. He uses a bow and arrow and he is Welsh.

He is afraid of the ghost of the black plague, slugs and creepy crawlies. 

Noah is outside in a meadow in the sun. There is a beautiful forest in the distance. It reminds Noah of Sherwood Forest. 

What’s in my closet?

Nicholas, the ghost, had never gone out before.  He was the closet ghost! 

His friend Jessica had been bullied and he was so upset because she had come home from school crying.  

That day Nicholas decided to put a stop to it!

St. Andrew’s NS, Bray, 6th Class, County Wicklow, 25th May, 2017  

Once there was a turtle. He lived on the Eiffel Tower.

It was just a normal day for Birthonomule the turtle, when he saw Achmed the eagle sitting beside him, trying to eat his left ear. 

Then Mr. Tortoise, who owned the Eiffel Tower, walked out of the elevator and said “Pass you shall not!”.

​Wicklow Educate Together, 6th Class, County Wicklow, 24th May, 2017  

Frank the Paper Aeroplane was playing White Parade on an A4 sheet of paper in his Granny’s basement.  

The city had been bombed out. 

Frank and Oscar the ostrich, his best friend, were hiding.

Tale of The Flying Table

One day Jeff the eejit was face-down on his table eating cereal.

Suddenly the table smashed and he cried because it was his best friend. 

His mum brought him to the shop to buy a new table.
