Summer at Fighting Words 2026

Fighting Words ran camps and took part in events at locations all over Ireland!

It was another summer bursting with creativity at Fighting Words. Participants explored creative fields including songwriting, playwriting, puppetry, screenwriting, poetry and prose, resulting in original plays, stories, songs, comics, and short films.

This work was made possible by over a dozen amazing camp facilitators and over one hundred incredible volunteer mentors, who dedicated their time and expertise to help each young person build confidence and develop their creative voice.

We thank everyone who helped make this summer a success!
