As part of First Fortnight, the annual festival that raises awareness about mental health, challenges prejudice and works to end stigma, Fighting Words is hosting a workshop for young writers aged 13 - 16 years to explore their creativity through songwriting on Saturday, January 15th!
Who Am I? Who Are We? Songwriting at Fighting Words
Where: Online hosted by Fighting Words on Zoom
When: Saturday, 15 January 2022
Time: 11am to 1.00pm
Age Range: 13 to 16 years
We are all individuals with our own strengths and we all live in communities together. At this workshop for young writers aged 13 and 16, participants are invited to consider the themes of what makes us unique and what brings us all together.
Working with experienced songwriters, participants will use their imaginations to create songs to express our differences as individuals and similarities as communities.
No previous experience? No problem. If there is a young writer in your life, this is a great opportunity to explore creativity in a new way!
