Fighting Words Cork offers creative writing programming to children and young people in partnership with Graffiti Theatre Company.

Ann Marie Is Fighting Words Coordinator for Cork. She organises and facilitates creative writing workshops for primary school children visiting Graffiti Theatre. She also facilitates Write Club, the teenage writing club at Graffiti.
Ann Marie previously worked in government and non-profit organisations in Ireland and New Zealand before she moved back to Cork. There she spent many years working with the National Advocacy Service for People with Disabilities and would probably still be enjoying that role if she hadn’t decided to devote time to her writing.
Ann Marie is never short of a notebook (although her pens often get lost), loves rowing in dragon boats and making a mess on the kitchen table with art supplies.
Her favourite word is bubble.
