Spring Change

St. Mary’s Holy Faith,

Dublin

The sun a glistering light;

Awake from Winter’s darkness

Bluebells they look so bright,

The world reincarnated.

The chirping sounds of sparrows,

Fill the reborn forest.

Water droplets, melodically falling

The wind a morning song.

Cryptic creatures seek the meadows.

The lake so pure: impeccable, light

Now snow-white swans land on the waters;

The enigma of the world gone with the night.

What’s dead, alive again and blooming,

New roots begin to grow.

Warm rays heat up the frozen soil.

Spring changes, they start to show.
