Interlinked and Interlocked.
One hug and our ribcages interconnect.
Bone slides on bone and we are attached by more than just the hip;
When one and one makes one it must be love.
So we bought locks instead of rings to ensure out love would never be stolen,
taken away by some other; some unworthy lover.
And threw away the key.
But some days during pretty dawns and burning sunsets when all the day is grey;
I wish I could rent metal.
Bend and break that brittle, little lock.
So I might be once again be free.
