Can you hear me,
Can you hear me,
These raw unspoken words,
Fight hard to be heard above the rest,
Only to fall on your deafened ears.
Can you see me,
Can you see me,
As the years go slowly by,
My shadow fades and flickers out,
Like a dying flame.
Can you feel me,
Can you feel me,
Feel the fire in my veins,
That burns without an ounce of doubt,
But you’re oblivious in your icy world.
I can hear you,
I can see you,
I can feel your every touch…
…But the fire within me will burn our soon
Leaving only an echo behind.
