Fighting Words runs three- and four-day summer camps throughout July and August.  The camps cover creative writing in all its forms, from comic books to songwriting, from filmmaking to short fiction.  All camps are run by experienced professionals in their given field and supported by trained Fighting Words volunteers.

Camps are aimed at one of three age groups: 7-9 years, 10-13 years, 14-17 years.  Participants are limited to one camp only and places are determined on a first-come, first-served basis.  As with all Fighting Words programmes, our summer camps are free of charge.

Bookings for summer camps open in May.  Notification of our summer camps is via the website, our Facebook/Twitter feed and our parent mailing list. If you would like to be included on our parent mailing list, please email Sara Bennett in the office.

While Bill was walking along the streets of Dublin, he heard a siren wailing in the darkness of the Ballymun streets.
