Summer Camps 2012

SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED

We are delighted to advise the schedule of summer camps here at Fighting Words for 2012!  We aim to host as many children as possible.  Our camps are highly participatory and a lot of fun.  Come explore your creativity with us this summer!

Important Information For All Camps

  • Register your child by returning the online registration form on the website.   We will NOT hold a place for your child without a form - you MUST book a place by returning the form.  Confirmation of receipt will appear onscreen when the form has been submitted successfully.
  • Places will be allocated using a lottery system to guarantee fairness.
  • Submitting a registration form does not guarantee a place.
  • In the case of siblings, please use separate registration forms for each child.
  • If your child is interested in more than one course, please complete a form for each course.  Please note that due to high demand, children are only permitted to attend one course.
  • We will advise if your child has a place by Friday, 1st June.
  • Closing date for registrations is 21 May 2012 at 5pm
  • Camps will run for two, three or four days.  See the schedule below for full details.
  • The camps run from 10am to 3pm daily.
  • Most camps take place here at Fighting Words but please note that two of them are being hosted at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA), at their temporary location at Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin 2.
  • We will provide all materials for each course.  The only thing your child will need to bring is a packed lunch.
  • All camps are free of charge.
  • All camps are run by experienced writers/artists.  All of our tutors are trained in our child protection procedures and are Garda vetted.
